Class News 我們的近況:

Here’s wishing “A Very Happy Birthday” to all

the November and December born children. We

believe they enjoyed the party fun and frolics

as much as we did!

N1 children are now able to recognise some of

the words they have learnt in class. They can

now match the word learnt such as baker and

hairdresser with their respective jobs. Children

enjoyed the role-play activities very much.

Teacher’s Corner 老師的話:

As a teacher, it’s always enriching to watch children

progress, as they build on their learning attitude and

begin to enjoy their surrounding learning enviornment.

It is more obvious than before that children have

started making friends and are now chatting actively in

their groups. Overall, children have started enjoying the

lessons and activities and they will only improve from

here on.

於 6/12 幼兒穿了不同的探險服飾參加栢基大冒

轉眼已上學四個多月，小朋友的表達能力

Class News 我們的近況: • We had a lot of fun at the 2nd Birthday party

held on 6th December. It was simply rocking!

Here’s wishing a very Happy Birthday to all the

N3 children born in November & December.

• We had a fun-filled and adventurous “Family

Outing day” on 29th November.

• We were extremely thrilled to visit the bakery

and to find an opportunity to meet with the

bakers.

Teacher’s Corner 老師的話: It’s always an overwhelming experience for teachers to watch

the children enjoying their school life, from such close

quarters.

It’s quite fulfilling to find children showing keen interest in

new things that have been introduced to them. Cooking is a

new dimension in this respect, in which children have shown

active participation and avid enthusiasm. They look forward

to engage in cooking every Thursday.

不知不覺，小朋友上學已有四個月的時間，很

的方法。在課室裏，我們每人自製了一個信箱與

同伴互相傳情，也進行了角色扮演的遊戲。

我們於 6/12 舉行了 LK 第二次的生日會，11 月

和 12 月共有四位小朋友生日，他們是：陳律、

last two months. They co-operated well with each

other to making the bus during the transportation

theme and the letterbox in the community helper

theme as part of their projects. Children have also

made great progress in writing numbers and letters,

~We celebrated the 2nd birthday party on the 6th

December, with 4 of the birthday stars of November

and December: ROBERTS Parry To, CHAN Jacelyn,

LAM Tsz-ping and TSE Jaffe. We wish you all a

happy birthday!

~We had our family outing at the Holiday Farm on

the 1st November, we participated in lots of activities

and we saw different animals at the farm.

We are looking forward to the Christmas party on

20th December 2019!

Children in UK2 have built up good friendships with

each other. Children have learnt to cooperate with

each other and take care of others, and engage in

different cooperative games and tasks at school.

Moreover, UK2 are learning to read and write

sentences! Children in UK2 enjoyed role-playing the

community helper roles in the Western restaurant,

especially pretending to be chefs and prepare food

for others!

了解火箭的結構，我們探討火箭的發射及

過程，更設計了屬於我們的火箭。

在「謝謝您們」的主題，我們認識了電影

院工作人員的工作，也嘗試擔任他們的崗

位，如售票員、帶位員等，我們更加把課

室設計成電影院，小朋友都表現投入。

~11月 1日為學校親子旅行，假日農場裡有很多

~6/12舉行了第二次的生日會，11月和 12月班

十一月份為「交通工具」主題，透過主題認識了

不同的交通工具，以及乘車的規則，小朋友喜歡進

N1 Language Corner: English

A Message from the Language Teachers: PN Classes have been having a lot of fun dressing up as Santa and Mrs Claus and practising saying “Merry

Christmas” and “Thank You”.

N Classes have been very busy learning both the name and sound of the letters as well as learning the upper case

and lower case formation of the letters. We introduce the sounds of the letters in a fun way with actions, stories and

songs.

LK Classes have been very busy learning to write the letters in the correct formation. They have been trying their

best but it takes time and lots of practise when learning to write the letters correctly.

UK Classes have been learning how to read and spell. We started with simple 3 letter consonant-vowel-consonant

(CVC) words and we have progressed to learning how two sounds put together can make a new sound. Children are

making great progress with their new skills and can now read much longer words such as ‘shampoo’, ‘chicken’ and

‘kangaroo’! Soon they will be reading independently!

普通話園地 (Putonghua) PE

N班的小朋友正在開心地體驗理髮師的工作，學習

幫助大家，並練習說普通話。

趁著天氣涼快一點，與 N班小朋友到戶外跑步並享

受陽光。

我們正在普通話課上扮演司機和乘客互動，在活動

中學習運用普通話進行對話。

大家正在跳輕快版本的 BABY SHARK，從他們的表

情已說明全部都樂在其中！

Class News 我們的近況:

各位小朋友在普通話課堂上，開心地跟老師唱

遊，積極地參與及享受普通話的各項學習活

動，在普通話聽力和表達能力上都有所進步。
