Class News 我們的近況: Teacher’s Corner 老師的話:

很高興在下學期能與小朋友一起外出參觀，學習購

物的應有程序及禮儀。從活動當中，看見 N1 的小

朋友都成長了不少，比上學期更積極、投入校園生

活。希望 N1 小朋友在下學期會有更大的成長及進

步。

We are at the supermarket buying bread. 我們一起到超級市場買麵包。

We are identifying raw and cooked food. 我們懂得分辨生和熟的食物。

We have been playing games at the Lunar New Year Celebration. 農曆新年慶祝會的遊戲真好玩！

• 我們在「做個健康好寶寶」的主題裡，認

識了「麵包」的外形特徵、味道、氣味

等，並了解在社區買麵包時的應有禮儀。

• 一月、二月和三月共有十位小朋友生日，

他們是魏希如、應珈悠、林尚謙、陳靖

欣、周詩雅、黃思齊、高美思、黎芊愛、

劉浠然、劉天朗。祝他們生日快樂!

We love playing games with our friends and Mr. Kalian. 我們喜歡與 Mr. Kalian 一起玩遊戲。

Class News 我們的近況:

Teacher’s Corner 老師的話: The temperature is slowly rising, and there are patches of green grass on the playground. In other words, spring is here! We have built a beautiful garden in the classroom and like to pretend to be butterflies and bees to flying amongst the flowers. We have so much fun!

“Look! We are learning to grip our pencil properly.” 「我們正在學習正確的執筆姿勢。」

“Oh! I have dug out a giant fly” 「噢!我掘了一隻大蒼蠅出來。」

“ We are buzzy buzzy bumble bees!” 「我們是嗡嗡小蜜蜂。」

‘Over the last two months N2 have focused on the theme ‘I live in Hong Kong,’ and ‘Wonders of Nature.’ We have looked

through family photographs together and we have shared

about our family traditions and customs. N2 love playing with

bugs and soil and we have learnt so many things about

insects! We have a cricket’s tank in the classroom! We love

to observe how the crickets jumparound with their legs.

January, February and March birthday stars are:

Class News 我們的近況: Teacher’s Corner 老師的話: Children have grown a lot over the last few months. They

are very active in their learning and really enjoy sharing

their stories every day. In the second semester, children

have been learning to recognise their names and put their

jacket on independently. They have improved a lot in terms

of following instructions. I believe that N3 children will keep

up the hard work in the coming months.

我們一起慶祝農曆新年。

Thank you to our special guest who helped us learn how to keep clean.

Through this fun game, we are learning about the concept of wet and dry.

透過活動我們學會乾和濕的概念。

• We had a short trip to Fusion to choose and buy

our favourite bread; at the same time we learnt

the names of different kinds and types of bread.

• We had a lot of fun celebrating Lunar New Year

together, we played a lot of games and learnt to

do a lion dance with Mr. Kalian.

• We had a lovely day on our family outing in

February.

• Happy birthday to Miki, Jasmine, I-kiu, Nicole

and Gabriel.

Special Friday is one of our favourite days of the week.

Class News 我們的近況: Teacher’s Corner 老師的話: 在「奇妙的大自然」中，小朋友都能認識到不同昆

蟲的身體特徵和習性。在進行遊戲時，他們都能與

老師分享昆蟲的知識，也能發揮想像力來扮演不同

的昆蟲。

在遊戲模式學習中，老師可見他們有不同的得著，

如：小朋友從遊戲中認識了青蛙及蝴蝶的生長過

程。我們日後會設計更多多元化的活動來豐富他們

的學習經驗，在學習上得到更多樂趣。

We can see many balloons when we lay down.

我們躺下來時，看見不同顏色的汽球。

-在 3月的主題「奇妙的大自然」裡，我們

在課室內飼養蟋蟀，讓小朋友可以觀察蟋

蟀的外形和結構，從而讓小朋友有真實的

經驗，也能提高他們對學習的興趣。

N4班 1月、2月、3月生日的小朋友有謝欣

桐、何卓芝、鍾秀兒、周泳霖、區振鋒、

徐以雅，我們一起祝他們生日快樂！

Class News 我們的近況: Teacher’s Corner 老師的話: Children had a fantastic time learning about ‘Healthy

Eating’. The super market visit, observing different products,

and how cashier works gave children the opportunity to allowing

them to create more realistic role play scenarios role-play.

Children learnt about some new places in Hong Kong in the

theme ‘I live in Hong Kong’. During the ‘Wonders of Nature’

theme we learnt about flowers.

不經不覺上學期巳經完結了，很高興看到小朋友

們都進步了很多，希望下學期他們能繼續努力，

We love planting. 我們喜歡種植小幼苗﹗

在剛過去的三個月，小朋友樂於參與農曆新年的

特別活動，他們能感受到濃厚的傳統節日氣氛。

此外，於「做個健康好寶寶」主題裹，幼兒學習

到分辨食物的種類，知道什麼是有益的食物，明

白到要多吃有益的食物才能有健康的身體。在

「我在香港」主題裹，幼兒認識了香港不同的地

方，亦學懂辨認香港、九龍及新界

的地理位置。

1月、2 月和 3月共有 8位小朋友生日，他們是：

陳梓蕎、何家漾、潘朗軒、黃嘉蘊、楊穎芯、林

楚沂、蕭澤明和黃睿淳。祝他們生日快樂﹗

小朋友們對不同食物的種類都加深了認識，

亦學習了保持健康的好習慣，如做運動及不偏食

等，記得在家中都要養成這些好習慣，做個健康好

寶寶。

新一個主題為「我住在香港」，家長可以在帶

幼兒外出遊玩時，多介紹香港不同的景點，令幼兒

對自己生活的環境有更多認識。

Class News 我們的近況: Teacher’s Corner 老師的話: For the ‘Healthy Eating’ theme, we learnt about designing

menus and learning to order food over the phone. We also

pretended to be caterpillars and butterflies. We also

learnt about the ‘Food Pyramid’ and the benefits of eating

healthy food.

For the ‘I live in Hong Kong’ theme we learnt about the

special places in Hong Kong and our surrounding areas.

For the ‘Wonders of Nature’ theme, we learnt the

difference between the natural environment and man-made environments.

在「小實驗大發現」的主題，幼兒們都當了一

位科學家，跟老師一起做了很多實驗。

新年假期後，當小朋友回校上課時，我覺得他

們長大了！在各方面也有進步！現在上課寫字自如

了不少，雖然句子長了、詞語的筆順也難了，但小

朋友也能一一完成。掌聲鼓勵鼓勵 ！

Class News 我們的近況: Teacher’s Corner 老師的話: Greetings everyone! UK4 children have adapted well to

the class, and had so much fun during the project.

They have shown great interest towards science as all

of them participated in class actively. I am sure they

will learn and grow steadily throughout the year. I am

very pleased to teach UK4. Ms. Chan

We are singing the silly song “Food Alphabet”.

During the Healthy Eating theme, UK4

learnt many food names and their

nutrients. They really liked to sing the

“Food Alphabet” song and we rewrote

the song using their ideas. In March, we

started a new theme – Science and we

discussed things like planets,

constellations and static electricity. They

really enjoyed doing the experiments.

Language Corner: English

A Message from the Language Teachers: We can’t believe it’s nearly Easter…time flies when you’re having fun! Let’s see what all the classes have

been up to over the last 3 months: PN Classes have been having fun learning their colours by singing songs and playing matching games.

N Classes have been developing their oral language skills and have been engaging in all kinds of conversations

from strange pizza toppings, what we should and shouldn’t wear in the rain and how long a snake can grow.

LK Classes continue to enjoy the phonics visual stories told to them each week which incorporate the ‘sound of the

week vocabulary’. Ask your child on a Monday to tell you the story they heard in class; you’ll be amazed at how

well they can re-tell it and in great detail too! (Warning: these are often very silly stories!)

UK Classes are storming through their digraph learning and are becoming more confident at reading unfamiliar

words. Encourage them to look for sounds and digraphs in words you may come across when you are out and

about. This could be on signs, restaurant menus, food labels or in the supermarket – read everything and anything!

Teacher’s Corner 老師的話: 近年，在不同的研究也發現體能活動對幼童的腦神

經功能提昇有明顯作用，能讓大腦、神經與肌肉互

相串連，亦會較為專注，而且手腦並用的活動可令

左右腦平衡發展。因此，希望各位小朋友多做運

動！

小朋友興奮地參與故事和表演，從中學習普通

話和同伴之間友善合作，快樂地學習成長。

小朋友雀躍地向上跳起，嘗試頂頭上色彩繽紛的氣

球。

小朋友在運用單腳平衡的技巧，把呼拉圈用腳傳送

給同學。

小朋友正在興致勃勃地觀看老師做實驗:利用汽

球裏空氣噴出產生的推力讓紙做的超人向前飛。

Teacher’s Corner 老師的話: 各班的小朋友通過多姿多彩的實驗、唱

遊、故事等學習活動，由普通話老師帶領，開

心積極地投入普通話活動，進步明顯。
