Ikebana International is a worldwide non-profit cultural organization founded in Tokyo in 1956. At present there are 143 chapters worldwide with membership of more than 7,000 individuals. The organization, with its motto “Friendship through Flowers,” is dedicated to perpetuating and spreading the art of Japanese floral design (Ikebana) and other facets of Japanese culture.

Ikebana International Ottawa Cen-tennial Chapter No 120 is an affiliate of Ikebana International. The Ottawa Chapter received its charter in 1969 and celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2019.

有酸素運動―キックボクシング楽しく、元気なエアロビクスと武道の組み合わせは、体力を改善するためにデザインされている。火、木曜　午後6:00〜7:15

IAIDOThe objective of Iaido is to learn how to wield the time-honoured weapon, the Japanese Sword. Beginning with the rules of the All Japan Kendo Association, one learns the techniques of the “Mu-souchokuden Eishinryu”. JODOJodo is a form of defence that uses a 4-foot wooden staff against a wooden sword. Beginning with the rules of the All Japan Kendo Association and mastering the “Jindo Musouryu Jodo” technique, the aim is to strengthen one’s body and mind.Monday, Wednesday 8:30 – 10pm

KENDOA one-on-one form of martial art combat using bamboo swords. By repeated prac-tice thereby strengthening body and mind, the objective is to mold the Human Soul.Monday, Wednesday 7 – 8:30pm
