• Our class book this half term will be George’s Marvellous medicine by Roald Dahl.

• We will be looking at the following text types;

Our History topic this term is ‘Fire Fire. We will be learning all about the Great Fire of London including the diary of Samuel Pepy’s. We will also be looking at Remembrance Day.

This term will be looking at the 4 countries that make up the UK and finding these on a map. We will also be learning the capital cities of the UK. •

History, Geography, Art, D&T

Our topics in RE this term are all about new beginnings and the story of creation, Baptsim and Advent. We will also be learning about Judaism.

We will be concentrating on games and multi-skills this term.

We will be looking at songs and nursery rhymes from the past including ‘London’s Burning, Ring o Ring of Roses and Oranges and Lemons. We will be learning to sing as a ‘round’. We will also be learning some important vocabulary including dynamics, pitch, tempo and beat.

Our topic in science this term is uses of everyday materials.
