Further Afield: Urban Missionaries Head to the Philippines

From serving soup on thestreets of NYC to feedingchildren in Dagupanslums,

a group of New York City

Relief teammates and I are

preparing to challenge ourselves in

January by going to serve with

Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in

the Philippines. Though this trip is

primarily focused on evangelismthrough music ministry &

intercessory prayer, we will be

involved in many different facets

of the YWAM ministry in Dagupan,

an area in the northwest region of

the Philippines.

Our teams activities may

include:

- Typhoon relief

- Open air evangelism

- Feeding & children's ministry

in 2 different slums- Conducting a young mom's

Bible study

- Ministering to prostitutes

- Leading worship and

teaching at a youth event
