Present Continuous Tense explanationTRANSCRIPT
Present Continuous Tense (Present progressive)
1. Estructura del Present Continuous Tense Se forma usando 2 componentes: el verbo “To Be” en presente y la terminación -ING al final del verbo.
Subject BE -ING form I am singing
You are singing He / She / It is singing
We are singing They are singing
swim – swimming hit -‐ hitting get -‐ getting
Vocal + Consonante + E Quite la E, luego añada -‐ING come -‐ coming lose -‐ losing live -‐ living

We are having a party on next Saturday. - Tendremos una fiesta este Sábado He is seeing the doctor tomorrow. - El mañana verá al médico
D. Expresar desarrollo o cambios en algo o alguien:
She is getting fat – It is getting dark – The cost of life is increasing – You are improving your english - The population of the World is growing.
Donald’s “I’m Loving it”).
4. Forma negativa del Present Continuous Tense: Para la forma negativa agregamos la partícula “not” después del verbo “To Be”:
