Project DetailsFrischmann Prabhu India Pvt. Ltd. (2006-Present)

Area Traffic Control and Ancillary Systems, is the first project of its kind in India. It is a WoBank funded project and deals with design and implementation of an adaptive systemtraffic controls that will enable centralized control of on-street road traffic signals. I habeen privileged to be associated with the project from the design and to have seenthrough the implementation phase. During the project I was nominated by the company training conducted by m/s Telvent Abengoa for Advanced Signaling systems in BarceloOn return from the training I also had the honour of passing on the learning to a team of personnel of the local Traffic Police. The imparted training lasted for about 3 weeks in Mumb The Phase I junctions is expected in the coming quarter.

‘Delhi Airport Project’, a feather in my cap dealt with landside transportation infrastructplanning, preliminary engineering design of the same and design of the connectivity of network with the main highway. Designated junction designer, simulation modeler ainternal coordinator for this project, I got a chance to enhance my interpersonal, technskills through the challenges posed by the project. One of the major challenges we had

overcome during the project was the tight space management within which we wsupposed to plan our services and network, while also allocating sufficient space commercial development. As a special reward of appreciation of the work done for the Deairport, the upcoming projects of Gulbarga and Shimoga Airports come as my responsibiwhich gives me the opportunity to explore Air Traffic Forecasting and Airport MasPlanning.
