OPTICAL CHARACTER RECOGNITION USING MARKOV NETWORKS Aug 2016 - Oct 2016Supervisor - Prof. Parag Singla, Computer Science Department, IIT- Delhi.

• Used Conditional Random Fields with skip edges to model the OCR Problem.• Implemented Message Passing algorithm over Clique Tree and Loopy Belief Propagation Techinique tooptimize the inference process.

• Extended the model to predict for two words together by using Pair Skip Potentials and achieved a20% increase in character accuracy.
