can 表示“可能”，常用于否定句、疑问句中。 could 为 can 的过去式，表示推测的语气较 can 弱。如：-- Can the man there be our math teacher?-- He may be, but I am not sure. may 意为“也许”。 might 为 may 的过去式，表示说话人对现在或将来不太确定的可能性的推测。如：Li Ming might get here in time, but I am not sure.
