Pray as I prepare for those. My sister, Jessica, and Sam are geCng married on November 7. Pray for them as they prepare for their wedding and a life of marriage. As of right now, I sFll need monthly financial partners in order to go back to PNG in January. Pray that I get those if you’re interested in partnering with me, let me know! Belonging “The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man, nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything. And he made from one man every na?on of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allo@ed periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us.” (Acts 17:2427, ESV) Do you ever feel like you don’t belong where you are? Like life is going on around you and you just don’t fit? Like you can’t find anywhere you might fit? I felt like that recently. I love being in Lincolnton, but was feeling like I didn’t belong because this is just temporary, everyone else has their place and mine is in Papua New Guinea (PNG). Atlanta is great. I have so many friends there. I belonged there for seven years before moving to PNG. But everyone has moved on. I don’t exactly ‘fit’ in their lives anymore, and I don’t have work there. And looking ahead to what I’ll be doing in PNG, I find that it’s not going to look like I imagined, even though I knew they sFll have a need for me. A couple weeks in to my pity party, I read the verse above. And God spoke to me… “you belong with Me, no maWer where you are. This Earth is not your home. I placed you here to do my will. And that can be done no maWer where you are. Wherever you are, grow in my knowledge, love those around you, live in my truth, and preach the Gospel. That’s it. That’s all I require of you.” Feelings can be deceiving. We can’t always trust them. I know now that none of what I was feeling was truth. I’m praying now that you find yourself living in light of God’s truth, no maWer where you are or what you may be feeling! a newsletter from brandy ingle Contact Info [email protected] www.brandyingle.wordpress.com Skype: brandyingle 704.740.9248 Mailing Address Brandy Ingle 629 N Cedar St Lincolnton, NC 28092 Click Here to Donate Online The high schoolers in our community in PNG just had their annual retreat weekend, called “Encounter”, last week. I haven’t been a part of it before, but hearing stories and seeing pictures of this year’s event has goWen me so excited to be a part of it next year! Grace and

Peace,

Brandy

I probably had the most fun summer of anyone in the whole world! :) Here

are some highlights…

In September, I got to spend a few days at Myrtle Beach with my parents and grandparents!

Sunsets have always been a love of mine. I’ve seen a lot of fantastic ones lately! This one was of the Eastern sky at the beach - sometimes it’s more

beautiful than looking West!

My super-cute nephew turned 1 in August. I really do have the cutest nephews in the world.

And we just found out that my brother and sister-in-law are

expecting a third baby in April!

In August, thanks to many sky miles with Delta, I got to take an epic vacation to visit several friends around the country! The Smiths (1) live in Northern California, and we visited Oregon to camp and see Crater Lake (2) - it

was breathtaking! We served in PNG together for a couple years. The Botes (with whom I went to college)

live in Denver, CO, one of my favorite places in the world. We trekked to a glacier, and Stacie and I

climbed 2 fourteeners in one day (4)! Anna and I (5) worked together in Atlanta for several years, and now she lives in Dallas, TX. We got to hang out for a few

days before I headed back to North Carolina!

I loved being a part of the cast of Annie Get Your

Gun in Atlanta!
