We have set up a stewardship committee to ensure that all money given to awardees would be properly spent.

All the awardees also have to submit mid-term reports and final report under certain criteria before they can receive the award money. All Bills and expenses have to be reported and copies sent to us.

Awardees are reminded that the logos of Rotary and THE ONE must be suitably and prominently displayed in the premises which are built/ renovated/enhanced using the award money.

In a press conference on 3rd September 2014 our District announced the launch of THE ONE HK, a humanitarian award with a mission to seek out and find a ‘true unsung hero’ in Hong Kong

Dr. Ko Wing-man, Secretary for Food & Health and Guest of Honour of the event said, “THE ONE HK Award sets out to recognize good deeds and good people who are not in the limelight. It exemplifies the spirit of Hong Kong. It is important to honour those in our community who have a passion for doing good and a passion for service. The Award will have a positive impact on us all, and hopefully will change lives for the better.”
