Abstract
The aim is to create a wireless interface device thatenables transmission of data files between twocomputers using zigbee wireless radio modems over a
secured wireless communication channel.
The device is capable of transmission of all fileformat such as text, audio, image and video.

Introduction ZigBee is an open technology developed by the
zigbee Alliance to overcome the limitations of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
Zigbee protocol is intended for battery operateddevices since it consumes very less power.

ZIGBEE WIRELESS MODEM
The term ZigBee is used to describe a standardized
wireless protocol for personal area networking, or
“WPAN.” The protocol is the work of and property of
the ZigBee Alliance, a consortium of more than 70
companies who have joined together to create and
promote the new standard

CONCLUSION
ZigBee can surely fulfill the requirements of
applications having low power consumption along
with low and secured data transfers. It works well for the industrial automation because of
its high number of nodes.
Zigbee protocol is intended for battery operated
devices since it consumes very less power.
