Skipper è il carrello ideale per trasportare sulle scale ogni genere di merce; infatti grazie agli speciali cingoli in gomma e al pistone elettrico, il peso del carico viene sempre scaricato sulla scala.

L’operatore, quindi, è nella condizione di eseguire il trasporto con la massima sicurezza e tranquillità. Egli, inoltre, non si deve più preoccupare di tenere bilanciato il carico ad ogni gradino come invece avviene nei sistemi saliscale tradizionali; infatti è bene dire che con quei sistemi l’operatore è costretto a tenere il bilan-ciamento del carico nel passaggio da un gradino all’altro interagendo direttamente con il peso stesso e quindi sopportandone una parte.

Chiaramente questo significa compiere un certo sforzo nel trasporto, e lavorare con apprensione.

Inoltre, a differenza di altri saliscale tradizionali, con Skipper non siete più vincolati dall’altezza dei gradini che dovete affrontare perchè lavora sempre sulla cresta dei gradini stessi.

Skipper is the ideal hand truck for carrying goods of any kind up or down stairs. Thanks to special rubber tracks and an electric piston, the weight of the load is transferred directly to the stairs.

This leaves the operator free to control transportation in complete safety and with full confidence. In addition, the operator doesn’t have to worry about keeping the load balanced on every step, as required by traditional stair climbing systems. These systems require the load to be balanced when going from one step to another, during which phase the operator has to carry part of the weight.

The operator is therefore forced to make a physical effort and to work under constant stress.

Furthermore, unlike traditional stair climbers, Skipper is not restricted by the height of the risers, because it always works on the crest of the steps.

Once you are on the stairs, simply push a button to set the desired inclination at which the weight should be carried. This allows you to adjust the working conditions according to the slope of the staircase and to the type of load being carried.

Il basamento semplice con ruote girevoli è particolarmente indicato per il trasporto di carichi mediamente pesanti e talvolta anche ingombranti. Certo, non abbiamo il vantaggio dell’ antiribaltamento, ma con un pò di manualità in più riusciamo comunque a compiere egregiamen-te il trasporto.

BASAMENTO CON SISTEMA DI ANTIRIBALTAMENTO

Il basamento con antiribaltamento è particolarmente indicato per il trasporto di carichi ingombranti e pesanti. Questo sistema è di aiuto all’operatore in due circostanze fondamentali: in primo luogo, all’inizio della rampa scale, inclina il carico in modo autonomo quindi l’operatore non deve più compiere sforzo per eseguire tale operazione; successi-vamente è condizione di assoluta sicurezza e facilità di manovra sul pianerottolo perchè sull’ultimo gradino della scala il peso non grava più sull’operatore ma viene sempre scaricato a terra.


BASAMENTO CON SOLLEVAMENTO E ANTIRIBALTAMENTO

Il basamento con antiribaltamento e sollevamento è particolarmente indicato per il trasporto di carichi ingombranti e pesanti su scale molto strette. Questo sistema aiuta l’operatore sia a inclinare il carico sulle scale all’inizio della rampa, sia a facilitargli la manovra sull’ultimo gra-dino evitando il ribaltamento del carico. La sua caratteristica peculiare, però, è quella di poter sollevare tutto il carico di 42 cm riuscendo così a superare il primo e talvolta anche il secondo gradino della rampa successiva per aumentare, di fatto, le dimensioni del pianerottolo. Gra-zie a questo accessorio, riusciremmo a girare su pianerottoli davvero impossibili.


RAMPA IN ALLUMINIO PER CARICO/SCARICO DALL’AUTOMEZZO

La rampa in alluminio è una comoda soluzione per chi vuole caricare e scaricare direttamente dal furgone qualsiasi tipo di merce. Ricordiamo che Skipper è in grado di salire e scendere dal furgone anche senza rampa facendo appoggiare i cingoli al cassone stesso, infatti il cassone è visto solo come un gradino più alto della media. Con carichi di un certo tipo, però, la rampa è insostituibile.

This base has two special functions: at the beginning of a flight of stairs it tilts the load automatically, so the operator doesn’t have to make the effort; on the last step of stairs the weight is transferred directly to the ground, and the hand truck can be safely and easily operated.

LIFTING AND ANTI-TOPPLING BASE

The lifting and anti-toppling base is particularly recommended for car-rying bulky, heavy loads on narrow stairways. This device helps the operator tilt the load at the beginning of the stairs and land safely on the last step without the load falling over. Its special feature is that it can lift the load 42 cm, above the first and sometimes the second step of the next flight of stairs, thereby “increasing” the size of the landing. With this base you will be able to turn around on landings where you didn’t think possible.


BASE WITH CON 6 HEAVY-DUTY CASTER WHEELS

The base equipped with caster wheels is recommended for carrying medium-weight or bulky loads. It’s the ideal accessory for users who don’t want to spend too much but need a device for any kind of load. It doesn’t have the advantages of an anti-toppling base, but loads can be carried safely with just a little more attention.


ALUMINIUM RAMP FOR LOADING/UNLOADING FROM VANS

This aluminium ramp comes in handy when you need to load or unload goods of any kind directly from the van. Skipper units can get on or off vans without using the ramp, simply by resting the caterpillar tracks on the body of the van, as if it was just a taller step. However certain kinds of loads make a ramp necessary.


BASE WITH WHEELS

A base with wheels is the best solution for moving over any ground without problems. The two caster wheels make the hand truck easy to steer over any ground, and the two pneumatic tyres take the weight off the operator’s arms. Perchè devo preferire Skipper agli altri sistemi saliscale?

La risposta è semplice e intuitiva, Skipper è L’unico carrello saliscale al mondo che combinando i cingoli con il pistone elettrico mette l’operatore nella condizione di non sentire più il peso del carico durante il trasporto sulla scale; questo è possibile perchè il peso grazie a Skipper viene sempre scaricato sui gradini, pertanto è la scala stessa a portare di fatto il peso e non l’operatore!I sistemi saliscale tradizionali, ovvero quelli che lavorano gradino per gradino o quelli sprovvisti della combi-nazione cingolo/pistone elettrico richiedono che l’operatore debba interagire con il carico e questo necessa-riamente implica che si debba sopportare una parte del peso stesso.Skipper questo non lo richiede, infatti è l’unico carrello saliscale che di serie è dotato di telecomando stacca-bile, questo proprio per indicare il fatto che l’operatore, con Skipper, deve soltanto premere un pulsante.

Esiste la possibilità di rovinare i gradini?

Assolutamente no! I cingoli di SKIPPER infatti sono di una mescola in gomma particolare, che conferisce ai cingoli la caratteristica di essere antitraccia, antitaglio e antiscivolo. Grazie a questi particolari cingoli puoi ope-rare tranquillamente su gradini in marmo, in legno, in parquet, in pietra etc. con la massima professionalità.

Cosa succede se carico più del dovuto? A livello strutturale Skipper riesce a sopportare senza danneggiarsi carichi ben più pesanti di quella che è la sua portata dichiarata; il limite unico è dato dalla potenza del motore che è quella necessaria per trasportare il peso che voi avete scelto. Se carico più del dovuto non ci saranno rotture ma semplicemente ci accorge-remmo che Skipper non riuscirà a salire proprio perchè il motore non ha la potenza necessaria per farlo. Nella stessa condizione sarà invece possibile scendere le scale perchè la potenza richiesta per tale operazione è nettamente inferiore.Ricordiamo che qualsiasi Skipper voi scegliate sarà costruito con una potenza pari al 10% superiore a quella che effettivamente vi servirà, questo per darvi la massima tranquillità.

Posso percorrere scale di qualsiasi tipo?

Si! Grazie a SKIPPER puoi andare su gradini molto alti perchè i cingoli lavorano sempre sulla cresta del gradi-no; inoltre puoi affrontare con sicurezza rampe a piede d’oca grazie alle ruote girevoli poste sotto il basamen-to. Senza carico è possibile addirittura farlo salire e scendere dal camion soltanto azionando i cingoli e quindi senza sollevarlo. Se invece vuoi salire e scendere dal camion con il carico, puoi farlo ordinando la rampa in allumino che va appoggiata al cassone del camion. Tale rampa viene fornita su misura ed è un accessorio supplementare.

Devo tenere bilanciato il carico?

Assolutamente NO! Grazie all’attuatore elettrico, puoi regolare a piacere l’inclinazione del carico sulla scala; in base alle dimensioni e all’altezza dell’operatore. Per tutta la durata della rampa l’operatore non deve fare altro che premere un pulsante e la fatica viene eliminata completamente! L’unico momento in cui è necessario tenere bilanciato il carico sarà soltanto nell’ultimo gradino mentre sei sul pianerottolo e passi da una rampa di scale ad un’altra. Tale passaggio è facilitato grazie alle due ruote girevoli posizionate sotto il basamento. Grazie a SKIPPER puoi superare anche i pianerottoli più stretti, compatibilmente con il carico trasportato.

Qual è la velocità di salita / discesa?

SKIPPER è molto veloce sia in salita che in discesa, con una velocità massima di 1m ogni 2 secondi. La velo-cità può essere regolata a piacimento grazie ad un potenziometro, permettendoti così di operare in assoluta sicurezza anche con carichi molto delicati.

Quanto dura la batteria?

L’autonomia dipende dal peso trasportato! Skipper monta delle particolari batterie al piombo gel senza effetto memoria. Le batterie oltre a non avere nessuna fuoriuscita di liquidi possono essere ricaricate tranquillamente anche senza esaurirne completamente la carica. Inoltre il caricabatterie in dotazione è completamente auto-matico, ovvero si stacca da solo appena legge la carica della batteria, quindi non c’è assolutamente pericolo di sovraccaricare le batterie stesse. La carica delle batterie è indicata da un led luminoso sulla centralina.

Why should I prefer Skipper over other stair climbing systems?

The answer is simple: Skipper is the only stair climbing hand truck in the world that combines a track with an electric piston to relieve the operator of the weight when going up or down stairs. With Skipper the weight is always transferred to the steps, so it’s the stairway that bears the weight instead of the operator! Traditional stair climbing systems, i.e. the ones that work step by step or are not equipped with a track/electric piston combination, require the operator to interact with the load, which means that the operator has to bear part of the weight. Skipper doesn’t work like that. Skipper is the only regularly produced climbing truck provided with detachable remote controls. With Skipper, the operator only has to press a button.

Is there any risk of damaging the stairs?

No risk at all. SKIPPER’s tracks are made of a special rubber compound that leaves no trace, is resistant to cutting and does not slip. These features make Skipper completely safe to use on stairs made of marble, timber, parquet, stone, etc.

What happens if I load more than I should?

Skipper’s frame can carry loads much greater than its rated capacity without getting damaged. The only limitation is posed by the motor power required to carry the load. Heavy loads will not damage Skipper, but they will make it impossible to climb the stairs because of insufficient motor power. In the same conditions, however, Skipper can go down the stairs with no problem, since descending requires less energy. Whatever capacity you choose, your Skipper is built with 10% more power than you really need, so you can work with confidence.

Can I go up any kind of stairs?

Yes. With SKIPPER you can climb taller steps, because the tracks only work on the crest of the steps. Plus, you can easily handle quarter landings thanks to the caster wheels on the base. When it’s not loaded, you can make Skipper get on or off the van by using the tracks, without lifting. If you want to carry loads on and off, you can order an aluminium ramp to apply to the body of the van. Ramps are provided cut to measure and are a optional accessories.

Do I have to keep the load balanced?

No, you don’t. Thanks to the electric actuator, you can set the tilting angle on the stairs depending on your size and height. All along the stairs, the operator only needs to press a button, with no other physical effort required! The only time you need to balance the load is on the last step, when you’re on the landing from one flight of stairs to the next. That operation is made easy by the two caster wheels on the base. With SKIPPER you can get through the narrowest of landings – just make sure the load does too.

What is the rate of ascent / descent?

SKIPPER is fast whether going up or down stairs. Its top speed is 1 m every 2 seconds. You can set the speed using the speed control so that you can carry delicate loads in complete safety.

How long does the battery last?

That depends on the loads you carry. Skipper is equipped with lead-gel batteries that have no memory effect. The batteries never leak. They can be charged with no problem even before they are completely exhausted. The battery charger is fully automatic. It switches off when the battery is fully charged, so there is no risk of overcharging the batteries. The batteries’ state of charge is shown by a LED on the control panel.

Can I also carry palletized goods?

Certainly. On request, we can supply a set of interchangeable bases that will allow you to go up and down stairs carrying packed good.
