5. Is the written oil transfer procedure, in accordance to USCG33 CFR 155.750, posted near the bunker station.

7. There is an effective deck watch in attendance at all time,and there is adequate supervision of both terminal / bargeand ship operation.

instruct shore/barge representative to supply at the agreed rate andthereafter following to be checked.

C. DURING BUNKERING OPERATION Y N

1. Check frequently sounding of all bunker tanks being

loaded

2. Ascertain flow rate using calibration tables. x

3. Check if drip rate of sampling properly adjusted. x4. Check overside for any signs of oil sheen. x

5. Moorings checked, tended to by duty officer. x6. Vessel’s draft/trim regularly checked by duty officer and

reported to bunkering in-charge.x

7. Check whether air is escaping past air vents of tanksbeing bunkered.

8. Check hoses, loading arms, and manifolds for pressure,

safe support, no leaks and no strain.

9. Ensure there are enough crew available to control thechangeover of tank safely and barge/shore personnelnotified of same.

10. Monitor sounding of overflow tank for any increase. x

11. Ensure enough space has been left for draining or blowingthe hose after completion.

5. As per ISO 8217, Gas oil of DMX grade may have flash point below 60 deg C. Hence should not be used except inemergency equipment
