Andy Warhol was an American artist who was a leading

figure in visual art movement known as pop art. He had developed a fear of hospitals and

doctors. Actually, we should have gratitude living in Hong Kong because the

medical service here is good. Although Andy Warhol was an leading artist figure in pop art, his life was full of frustrations

and pain. We should be grateful because our living

environment is very good.

What a training camp it was! We had to stay in Hong Kong Museum of Art for12 hours. That night, we listened to the tutors sharing with us their knowledge about Andy Warhol! Although my schoolmates and I were very sleepy, we still tried our best to pay attention to the sharing. We should thank Hong Kong for giving us good education so that we can have different meaningful experiences. I am happy that I was born in Hong Kong which lets us enjoy school life.

On 3rd June 1968, Andy Warhol was shot by a woman with a small-sized gun . Luckily, he survived the injury though it was a serious one. He had to undergo surgeries. Lives are fragile. However, we never know what will happen to us. We need to be thankful and positive about life. In this way I believe that all of us will definitely have a fantastic life.

Pop art is an art movement emerged in the mid-1950s in Britain and the late 1950s in the United State. Pop art presented a challenge to traditions of fine art by including popular culture such as advertising, news,etc.In pop art, material is something visually removed from its known context, isolated or combined with unrelated material. I am more interested in pop art after the visit. It makes me feel that life is colorful.
