¿Cómo contamos una historia ?

Debemos conjugar los verbos en el tiempo pasado.

Veamos entonces los tipos de verbos que existen y

cómo los conjugamos.

Hay dos grandes tipos de verbos en Inglés:

No siguen una regla, debemos consultar el listado de verbos irregulares.

Para escribir en la forma negativa usamos la siguiente estructura:

verbo auxiliar DID + not + verbo principal *

el pasado del verbo DO

(* Con verbos regulares e irregulares )

�Hay dos tipos de preguntas:

� Yes / No questions -> para afirmar o negar

� Wh-questions -> para solicitar información

Seguimos la estructura siguiente:

Verbo auxiliar did + sujeto + verbo principal (+ resto) ?

Y contestamos así:Yes, (Pronoun) didNo, (Pronoun) did not (didn’t)

El verbo siempre va en infinitivo cuando está el auxiliar

� El verbo ser / estar es un verbo Irregular.� No necesita auxiliares.� El pasado simple tiene dos formas.��

� Usamos una u otra forma según el pronombre:

� I – HE – SHE �------ WAS

� WE – YOU – THEY �----- WERE
