Direction:

1. List vocabulary words for the unit, with the hardest ones on top and the easiest on the bottom.

2. Work in pair. First they decide whether they want to practice from Chinese to English or vice versa.

4. Starting on the bottom word. Student A begins saying the word, If Student A is correct, then goes the one above it, trying to climb to the top of the ladder.

5. If Student A misses one, he/she has “fallen off” the ladder, the paper is turned around, and student B tries to climb it.

6. Whoever gets to the top first wins.
