Cac ban tin ieu khien c trao oi gia cac LSR e thc hien nhieu hoat ong khac nhau, bao gom thiet lap lien ket. Sau khi hoat ong nay hoan thanh, cac nut c goi la cac LSR ngang hang (peer), trao oi cac ban tin chu k (ban tin hello) e chac rang cac nut gan ke hoat ong tot, trao oi cac ban tin a ch va nhan e lien ket cac a ch vi nhan va xay dng bang chuyen tiep cho mat phang d lieu MPLS. Tai sao lai s dung FEC? Trc tien, no cho phep nhom cac goi vao cac lp khac nhau, co the s dung e ho tr chat lng dch vu hieu qua. V du, FEC co the lien ket vi o u tien cao, lu lng thc FEC c xac nh duy nhat bang viec s dung mot nhan. oi vi cac lp dch vu khac nhau, ngi ta s dung cac FEC va cac nhan lien ket khac nhau. Mot v du cua FEC la mot tap cac goi unicast ma a ch ch lp mang co cung tien to a ch IP xac nh. Mot v du khac cua FEC la mot tap cac goi multicast co cung a ch nguon va ch lp mang. 2.3.3.S mang nhan trong goi

Mot chc nang quan trong cua thanh phan nh tuyen chuyen mach nhan la kha nang mang nhan trong goi, co nhieu cach e thc hien ieu nay. Vi cac ky thuat lp lien ket, nh ATM va Frame Relay, co the mang nhan nh mot phan cua tieu e (header) lp lien ket cua no. Cu the, vi ATM, nhan co the c mang trong trng VCI hay VPI cua tieu e ATM. 2.4.1.Ket hp trong va ket hp ngoai

2.4.2.Ket hp ngc dong va ket hp xuoi dong

Thanh phan ieu khien chuyen mach nhan s dung ca hai kieu ket hp trong va ngoai e xay dng bang nh tuyen vi nhan vao va nhan ra. Co hai cach e thc hien ieu nay. Cach au tien la khi nhan t ket hp trong c dung la nhan vao va nhan t ket hp ngoai c dung la nhan ra.
