由經濟部國際貿易局主辦，中華民國對外貿易發展協會執行的「台灣國際醫療展覽會」，從今(16)日起在台北世貿一館，一連四天與「台灣國際銀髮族暨健康照護產業展」聯合展出，本屆展出規模較歷年成長，共計有 468家廠商，932個攤位。展示內容豐富，包含各式醫療儀器、檢驗設備、遠距照護、輔具器材、穿戴式裝置、中草藥、敷料及耗材、代間互動產品、保健食品及復健產品等，全方位的醫療照護用品一應俱全。

長照法將於 2017年上路，政府將進一步推動「居家醫療照護」，未來就診模式從以醫院為中心轉往「醫療走入家庭」的新式概念；本屆「台灣國際醫療展覽會」中多家廠商展示新式遠距醫療應用系統、生理監測系統及睡眠監控裝置等，讓慢性病患者或家屬可在家自行管理健康；而醫療器材及輔具的廠商也由台灣舒潔、榕懋實業、伍氏科

技、光星及上銀等，展出優質產品以滿足國內長期照護市場需求，並藉由本平台展示我國醫療器材及精密機械的研發實力與國際競爭力。

台灣已邁入高齡社會，銀髮照護產品的需求比重逐年增加。「台灣國際銀髮族暨健康照護產業展」主打三大重點展區 :行動 & 居家輔具區、居家 & 遠距照護區以及健康食品 &保健用品區，參展廠商包括台灣銀髮產業聯盟、中華安全行動照護協會、必翔銀髮及北智捷等，展示最新的福祉產品及服務以滿足國內銀髮族的需求。

展覽期間辦理多場免費主題講座，明 (17)日邀請美國知名醫療器材顧問公司 Quantum Pharmtech的總裁 Francisco Franco講解美國生技與醫療器材產業的發展趨勢；而日本關西銀髮服務協會的理事長記虎孝年也將分析日本照護保險與福祉用具的趨勢，協助業者一次掌握高齡

化商機。另外還有 10多場的研討會，主題從醫療器具、保健食品到輔具應用發展，為與會者提供完整的分析。

國發會預估，2025年台灣將進入「超高齡社會」，中高齡疾病醫療護理與照護是台灣未來發展的重點產業。依據工研院產業經濟與趨勢研究中心 (IEK)分析，2016年第一季我國醫材產業產值約為新台幣 241億元，較去年同期成長 11.9%，醫療產業發展穩定，預估 2016全年產值可達新臺幣1,032億元。

本次展覽預期參觀人數將突破 7萬人次，其中已確認來台的重要買主分別來自新加坡、德國、俄羅斯、印度、中國等，可見台灣的醫療相關產品在國際間逐漸受重視。此外，看好我國醫療產業的優勢，德國巴伐利亞邦首次組團來台參展，計有 6家德國企業來臺共襄盛舉。

Medicare Taiwan, an event organized by Bureau of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Economic Affairs, implemented by Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), will be held at Taipei World Trade Center Exhibition Hall 1 for four days with concurrent exhibition SenCARE on June 16. This year's exhibition has upstaged previous editions in terms of scale, 468 exhibitors will participate in this exhibition composed of 932 booths. A wide variety of items and products encompassing every aspect of medical care will be on display, which aims to meet the needs of domestic and international professionals and to provide an interaction platform for citizens and people from the medical industry.

The Long-Term Care Service Act will go into effect in Taiwan in 2017, as the government is set to further promote home-based medical care as well as the brand new concept of transitioning clinical modalities from hospital-based to a home-based approach. During this year's Medicare Taiwan, many companies will showcase new application systems for telemedicine, physiological monitoring systems, and sleep tracking devices, allowing

patients with chronic diseases and the family to provide healthcare at home. Manufacturers of medical apparatus and assistive devices including Taiwan Stanch, Apexcare, Wu’s Tech, Nova, and Hiwin will also demonstrate their premium products catering for the needs of domestic long-term care services, while showcasing Taiwan's R&D capabilities and international competiveness in medical apparatus and precision machinery.

Taiwan is becoming an ageing society, the needs for elderly care products grow every year. SenCARE focuses on three major areas: assistive devices/mobility aids; home care/telecare, and health foods/healthcare supplies. Exhibitors include Chinese Safe Patient Handling & Management Association(CSPHA), Chinese Safe Patient Handling & Movement Association, Pihsiang and Luxgen Motor, who will showcase their latest welfare products and services catering for the needs of Taiwan's senior population.

A series of keynote speeches will be held on June 17. TAITRA has invited Francisco Franco, president of Quantum Pharmtech, to deliver a speech on FDA requirements

on technology and development process for approval of Medical Devices by FDA.

Based on the forecast by the National Development Council, Taiwan will enter a "super ageing society" by 2025. Medical care and healthcare for diseases associated with senior demographics is becoming an important industry for Taiwan's future development. According Industrial Economics and Knowledge(IEK), Taiwan medical products market total transaction value is estimated NT$ 24.1 billion in Q1 2016, 11.9% growth from Q1 2015. As the development of the medical care industry remains stable, it is estimated that the production value for 2016 will reach NT$ 103.2 billion.

The exhibition is looking to 70,000 visitors this year. Important buyers from Singapore, Germany, Russia, India, and China have confirmed their visits. This indicates that Taiwanese medical products are internationally recognized. In addition, the German state of Bavaria has noticed the potential of Taiwan’s medical industry, therefore has organized a group to participate as exhibitor for the first time, together with 6 German companies.
