    Hypothesis:

    1. Emotional Intelligence & Work Experience

According to a research paper the emotional intelligence is not fixed genetically. It changes

largely with age as we learn through our life experiences. The research suggests that there is a

positive relationship between EI and work Experience.

Hence the null hypothesis for our proect was

!" # The Emotional Intelligence is positively associated with work experience

The data we received from our survey results are tabled below:

    $ork Experience % in years& EI score

    ' ( )ear (*+.,

    (-* )ear (/."

    *-0 )ear (0.

    0-, )ear (".0

    ,-(" )ear (.

    ("-(0 )ear (*0.1

    Inference

$e assumed that EI increases as work experience increases. However2 after analy3ing the

results of the survey we found out that there is little co-relation between the two. Hence we can

conclude that work Ex has no bearing on the EI. Emotional Intelligence is a trait2 which is related

to personality4 it is intrinsic in nature and cannot be related to $ork Ex.

    Well Being

    Well Being

    Inference

A high $ell 7eing score indicates an overall score of well being. The graph we plotted shows

that it too is independent of the age or work ex. It is high in the initial year of work life. $ork ex

of (-* usually means that people start experiencing the work pressures and the stress that

comes with it. They become comfortable after a certain age but then because of added

    responsibility and balance work-life re8uirements around %,-(" years& the well-being might

decrease as well. This is usual the employee life-cycle that revolves influences well-being.

    Self-Control

    Self-Control

    Inference

The self-control factor refers to one9s degree of control over the urges and desires. $e observe

in our survey that self-control increases with the increase in work-ex. This was an expected

result. A minor outlier in this case was the exp group from 0-, years.

    Emotionality

    Emotionality

    Inference

Individuals with a high emotionality score possess a wide array of emotion-related skills:

recogni3ing internal emotions2 perceiving emotions2 and expressing emotions. In turn2 theseskills are often used to form and nurture close relationships with family and friends. n the

contrary2 individuals with a low emotionality score have difficulty recogni3ing their own emotions

and conveying their feelings to others The results prove that the emotionality remains more or

less the same throughout the $ork Ex.

    Socialibility

    Socialibility

    Inferences

The sociability factor focuses on one9s social relationships and social influence. This factor

differs from the emotionality factor in that it evaluates one9s influence in a variety of social

contexts2 rather than ust in personal relationships with family and friends.Individuals with ahigh sociability score are good listeners and effective communicators. Individuals with a low

score are not as effective at social interaction. The score of sociability decreases with the $ork

    Ex.
