Spotlight Projectile Demolisher Purpose of the Project: The goal of the project was to develop and build a prototype of a “smart” projectile that is capable of guiding itself towards light projectors that are mounted on boats in order to smash it. Primary requirements: The projectile will be mounted on standard M-16 rifle The projectile will be used only during night time in full darkness The projectile will be launched at a maximum angular direction of 12 degrees with respect to the target. Main design: The body of the projectile is designed similarly to a RPG projectile. The projectile is assembled with the following components: oTSL235R light sensor high-sensitivity light to frequency converter oPiezo - electric actuators oArduino Micro system controller oStandard DC batteries oRGB LED Basic functionality diagram: Student: Ilan Y.
