Spotlight Projectile Demolisher
Purpose of the Project:The goal of the project was to develop and build a prototype of a “smart” projectile that is capable of guiding itself towards light projectors that are mounted on boats in order to smash it.
Primary requirements:• The projectile will be mounted on standard M-16 rifle• The projectile will be used only during night time in full darkness• The projectile will be launched at a maximum angular direction of 12
degrees with respect to the target.
Main design:• The body of the projectile is designed similarly to a RPG projectile.• The projectile is assembled with the following components:
oTSL235R light sensor high-sensitivity light to frequency converteroPiezo - electric actuatorsoArduino Micro system controlleroStandard DC batteries oRGB LED
