DESCRIPTION

Its the two verses from Tipitaka that Ven. Buddhagosha was given when he went to Sri Lanka. He expounded the whole and wrote the Visuddhimagga. This document contain the verse in roman and devnagari script and its english translation.

Jatasutta (SN 7.6) /

Once a brahmin Bharadvaja went to the Blessed One and posed this question to him.Antojata bahijata, Jataya jatita paja; Tam tam gotama pucchami, Ko imam vijataye jatanti ? , ; , .

Entangled insideentangled outside ,everyone entangled in these tangle (of knots); I ask you O! Gotama, who succeeds in untangling these tangle (of knots) ?Gotama The Buddha, answers;Sle patihya naro sapao,Citta paaca bhvaya;tp nipako bhikkhu,So ima vijaaye jaa. , ; , .When a wise man, established well in Virtue,Develops Consciousness and Understanding,Then as a bhikkhu ardent and sagacious,He succeeds in disentangling this tangle.
