What was the Korean War?

The Korean War was a war between the Communists (North Korea) and non-communists (South Korea) otherwise known as a part of the Cold War. The Cold War was a tense relationship between America and Russia (USSR).The Korean war was also known as the forgotten war because it was overshadowed by more recent wars. The Korean War started in 25 June 1950 and finished in 27 July 1953 it was a war between South Korea and North Korea, otherwise known as the DPRK, in which a United Nations force dominated by the United States of America intervened to support the South and China intervened to support the DPRK.
