3D打印技術高度集成了數控技術、電腦科學、鐳射、材料等學

科的最新成果，實現了複雜表面實體的高互換性列印與複製。

然而，目前市場化的3D列印裝置不僅價格昂貴而且功能有限。

我們開發的3D桌面打印系統不僅成本低而且精度高、速度快、

列印尺寸大。它可以廣泛地應用於辦公、家庭與工業領域。

3D printing integrates the latest achievements of Numerical

Control, CAD/CAM, Computer Science, Laser, Materials,

etc. It has high interchangeability, can be easily replicated,

and can manufacture prototypes with complex surface, etc.

However, the current 3D printing systems in the market are

not only expensive but also limited in functionality. In this

project, we develop a low-cost high-performance desktop

3D printing system, which has much lower cost than the

existing systems, high printing precision, fast printing speed

and large printing size. The developed 3D printing system

can be widely adopted for office, family and industrial use.

• Low cost. The cost of our system (<HK$5000) is much lower than

the existing commercial systems

• High precision. It has higher printing precision than many systems

which are more expensive

• High printing speed (up to 800mm/s)

• Large printing size (π×8cm2×22cm)

• 3D prototype printing of art work, toy, etc

• 3D customized souvenir printing

• 3D family photo printing

• 3D tourism industry. For example, print the 3D face or portraits for

tourists with the background as the landscape
