The project Innovative Didactics via Web Based Learning is a multinational cooperation between teacher trainers and researchers from Bulgaria, Lithuania, The Netherlands, Slovak Republic and Poland.
The project is aimed at developing courses, which can be applied by teacher trainers to prepare student-teachers (or in-service teachers) regarding the use of WWW in education.
The second goal is to store course materials in an international data base.

What teachers learned:
a method to develop and implement teaching and learning that encourages collaboration between students, stimulates the development of higher order thinking skills, and is a catalyst for interdisciplinary teaching and learning. Assignments are open ended and pupils have to work towards a product.
‘negotiation as part of the method’: often pupils can negotiate the product they have to deliver because usually there are some degrees of freedom. In this way, negotiation is connected with the approach to learning.
