him at anastasis.""yes, i know.""and then he appeared to me again, this time within thedivine light, when he had told me about harrysresurrection."carlos again nodded. "he also appeared to me within thedivine light." he then paused and shook his head in dismay."but i also did not know that this was the apostle john untilwe had that revelation vision.""did you also hear what he had just said? that this was nowmy second mission, and that i would then find my reward.that must surely be jenny, dont you think?"carlos smiled. "yes, i think so."i again gave a whoop of deligjt. "yes, it must be! when ihad first arrived, he had told me that she would soon joinme. also, hezekiah ruther read out her name on theresurrection roll. even harry, when we said our farewellson mount anastasis, told me that he heard the angel johnsay the same thing. now, its all coming true!"carlos nodded and placed his arm around my shoulder."yes, it seems so, my friend, but first we need to help thisboy, ron."next day packed our tents and warm clothings weneeded for the moutains. to get there, we followed the

same track we had used yesterday to gather the berries.upon reaching the top of the cliff, i was again remined ofthe encounter i had with the grizzly, and moresignificantly, the apostle john. after a brief look at the riverbelow us, we continued along and up the trail that led to awooded plateau, which virtually teemed with wildlife ofevery kind.never in the one area had i ever heard thesounds of so many birds: nightingales, canaries, thelaughing of kookaburras the chirping of sparrows, theshrieking of crows, and the tap ~ tapping of woodpeckers.there were other types of sounds and singht, of mammalianlife, some distant, some near, from chimpanzees to grizzlybears, all incongruously interrwined in a land that knew no

borders.by midday we passed the plateau and were again venturingupwards until by dusk we neared the foot of mount eleositself, there we camped for the night. the weather by nowhad become considerably cooler than anything we had everexperienced in paradise. however, we were well prepared.amongst our supplies, we had clothing. made from specialmaterial found only in paradise, material that wasrelatively light, yet exceptionally effective aganist the cold.that, plus the fact our bodies were now much moreresistant against the cold, meant that we could easily copewith any adverse weather conditions we met. also, ourtents were comfortable and warm, being likewise

constructed from material far superior to anything we hadknown in the ole world.that night we all sat around a campfire where geore andmy father were cooking some fish fruits on a skewer. afterdinner, we lingered around the fire, talking, laughing, andlater even singling, until finally, one by one, everybody.went into the tents, and into their respective sleeping bags.finally, i was the last one left. by then the campfire wasdying, and thus i instinctively huddled next to the glowingembers.

far off in the distance, i heard a lone cry of a wolf an eeriefeeling swept over me as i relized that the day ofreckoning would soon be upo me, the day i was to meetup with the person who had murdered me. i instinctivelyturned to prayer, and once more i was calm. a final lookinto the glowing embers and off i went into one of thetents. there i snuggled into a sleeping bag next to myparents, the woll howled once more but i felt ascomfortable and secure as if wrapped in cotton wool. i gavea final yamn and fell soundly asleep.at dawn the next day, we continued our trek, now goingupwards on the slopes of eleos, the weather getting evercolder by the hour, although so far this caused us littleconcern, by early afternoon, the first snowflakes fell, just asit had when i had made my feeble attempt up the 11,000foot peak of mount hood, in the cascade range. then it had
