EXPORT WARRANTY- GENERALCONDITIONS

WARRANTY

TELWINwarrantsthegoodworkingoftheproductsand takestheengagement toreplacethepartsthatmayresultfaulty due tobadqualityofthematerial or manufacturingdefects,within12 MONTHS from thedate when theproduct was sold to the end-user (exception is made for thoseproducts sold within the European Union - UE - and relative to the European Directive1999/44/CE),provedonthewarranty certificate included in theinstructionmanual.Thewarrantystartsfrom the date of

purchaseoftheproduct.

WARRANTYLIMITS

The following conditions are not covered by the warranty terms: faults due to natural deterioration,disregardofthemaintenanceinstructionsgivenin theinstructionmanual,alterationoftheoriginalstatusof theproduct,connection to incorrectmainsvoltage, incorrect gas pressure, transportationdamages,fires or damangescaused by natural eventssuchaslightnings or floods.Thedirect or indirectdamagescaused by a faultyproduct are notcoveredby thewarranty.The warranty expires if the repair of the products is carried out without previous authorization of themanufacturer or iftherepairiscarried out by using non approvedspareparts.The warranty does not cover transportation costs either direct or indirect. The torches, their

consumables and thewirefeederrolls, are notcoveredby thewarrantyterms.

Note: thefaultypartssubstitutedunderwarrantymustremainavailableforeventualcontrol.After the repairwork, thewarrantyof the repairedor replacedproductwillgoonuntil theendof theperiodasforeseenfortheproductwhenitwasfirstpurchased.

PRODUCTS REPAIR

Thewarrantyserviceisgrantedby theproducts distributor.TELWIN acknowledges the warranty costs with a warranty discount which is applied on all theend-productsinvoiced.Thisdiscountisto cover thecostsforparts,labour, and allothercosts.

To grant a correct service, TELWIN will support its distributors with the necessary documentation,relative totherepairworks,instruction and advice.

Thedistributorshouldstructure itsownorganizationso astobeabletocarryout thenecessaryrepairworkswithadequate instrumentations (seeAppendix) and beequippedwitha stock ofspareparts torespondtoitsneeds.Thisserviceshouldhavea sufficientdistribution in thearea wherethedistributoroperates.

The distributor will also indicate a responsible of the repair service, who will become the referencepersonforTELWINasfasasthewarrantymattersare concerned.Thispersonwillcome toTELWINfordue training and updatingontheproductson a regularbasis.Theinformationgivenshallnotbeusedforscopesdifferentfrom thoseforwhichithasbeengiven.Itwillbecommonengagement toproceedwith a controlon thecostssustained for theassistance incase thesewillsubstantiallydifferfrom theinitialonesforeseen.

In case all,or part of,theobligationsoftheDistributorare notrespected,theright togetthediscountwillloose validity.

In case of presumed defects on production batch, the distributor will immediately communicate all theproblems found. TELWIN, after due controls, will authorize the returnshipment of such products.After control of the faulty products at Telwin s premises and diagnosis of the real fault, TELWINwill startthe repair work.

NOTE: TELWINwillnotacceptany returnshipmentofany productifthishasnotbeenpreviouslyagreeduponand authorized;in case thedistributorisnotabletocarryout therepairontheproduct/s,contactsshouldbetakenwithTELWIN s AfterSales Servicetogetthemostadequatesupport. In any case theproductistobedespatchedtoTELWINCARRIAGEPAID and willbereturnedCARRIAGEFORWARD.
