Preschool and Kindergarten Lesson:
If you Give a Pig a Pancake” By Laura Numeroff
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IRCfQCUefLg
Step Two:
Crack 2 eggs into bowl, and mix up until fluffy.
Mix in the “dry” ingredients.
Do not stir YET.
Step 3:
Heat up 2 tablespoons of butter in a microwavable container.
Add the butter, and 2 ½ cups of buttermilk into the mix and stir gently.
Leave some clumps of the dry material, so that pancakes will be fluffy.
Step 4:
An adult should turn on the frying pan to a low or medium level.
Spray some non-stick pray onto frying pan.
Pour ¼ cup of the pancake mix on the frying pan once it is heated up.
Step 5:
Cook the pancake for about two minutes, or until the pancake is golden.
When you see bubbles, flip the pancake over with a spatula.
Cook the other side until golden, and then the pancake is done!
Step 6:
Repeat steps for more pancakes so the whole class gets one or two.
Add butter, syrup, peanut butter, or fruit!
*Enjoy*
