    In making flashcards, which need to be considered are (a) the size should be adequate and

    sufficiently large and clearly visible to all students in class, (b) the image must convey the message

    clearly, not ambiguous, or describe something that is confusing, (c) how to use it to be precise.

    Here are a few simple tools can be developed and used by teachers to teach EYL.

    1. Circular CardsThe one circular set consists of two sheets of heavy rounded paper and has two "ears" that

    functions as a handle.

    The first sheet is divided into 6 or 8 sections, each section can be used to display the image with

    or without words. The second sheet is cut 1/6 or 1/8 to view the images. Then the two pieces of

    the material put together by inserting a matchstick or Q-tips that are heated in order to be

    attached.

    Size must same to the needs. For individual activities, diameter 15 cm is enough, but need to bemade larger for group activities, for example, with a diameter of 30 cm. Picture number 6 or 8

    to a sequence of events or processes.
