Alibaba Cloud organizes large and small scale competitions and roadshows, to offer the startups opportunities of reaching out the professional coaching and famous VC funding, and attracting attentions from medias and customers as well.
In 2015 we hosted the national startup competition“Zhushendazhan”which attracted thousands of startups to join, and 8 teams from different cities including HongKong came to Hangzhou to attend the final road show. We also cooperated with CBN, Ningxia TV, Sina, Youku to launch the startup competition TV show “Yimadangxian”.
In 2016, we will enlarge the scope of the startup competition, and invite startups from Singapore, HongKong, Korea, UK and Dubai to attend the contest and meet at Hangzhou.

Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund

The Entrepreneurs Fund is a not-for-profit initiative launched by Alibaba Group in 2015 to help entrepreneurs and young graduates realize their dreams and vision. Two separate funds have been set up in Hong Kong and Taiwan respectively to support specific programs in each place.
We have established a HK$1 billion not-for-profit entity, The Hong Kong Entrepreneurs Fund Limited, to support the career and entrepreneurial aspirations of young people in Hong Kong.
Through the Investment Program, we aim to help entrepreneurs grow their businesses on Alibaba’s e-commerce marketplaces and other platforms such as cloud computing and logistics. Young companies developing technologies or IT applications that promise to enhance the Alibaba ecosystem are also eligible for our support, as are small companies that provide useful products and services to businesses taking part in the ecosystem.

The company’s country of registration is outside of mainland China. Officially registered as a company for no more than 5 years. Not yet a public listed company. Annual revenue is less than $500,000USD. Have a clear business model, have innovative products and a good potential to grow. Not participated in the Alibaba Cloud startup program before. Already joined an incubator/accelerator/co-working space and received angel investment.
Priority A member of one of the Alibaba Cloud’s startup program partners. Not yet an Alibaba Cloud user.
Partner with usWe sincerely invite companies who qualified with the criterions below, to partner with us together to provide the funding, technical aids, ability trainings and networking supports to potential startups. Moreover, you can connect with more resources through our platform, and customize the cooperation with us to help with your business success.
- Partners can be incubators, accelerators, co-working spaces, seed/VC capitals ， governments and other startup organizations.
- Registered as a company for over 2 years and has a clear development strategy and operation staff. Able to provide professional services to startups.
- Incubators/Accelerators/Co-work spaces/Startup hubs should have over 10 startups joining/working/registered in your space/organization.
- Partners will be expected to recommend startups to join the AliCloud startup program and screen their qualifications to make sure they match the credentials.
- Has not previously been managed by, received investment from, or signed exclusive cooperation agreements with other companies running cloud computing businesses.
