Their challenge is to build a Formula One racing car that will win the Grand Prix! An analogy can be drawn to the work place where everyone has a rewarding role to play; whether they want to build, design, decorate or crew the car, each team member has a valuable contribution to make.

Delegates are split into agencies and have to develop a strategy, storyboard and script before moving on to production. As with the real advertising world, they will have cameras, props and costumes and will need to carefully plan their storyboard and marketing strategy before shooting their advert live and dangerous! A challenging exercise in high-performance team work, where an effective strategy supported by clear lines of communication will be critical to success.

Using basic building materials, teams design a bridge for another team to build and construct a bridge that another team has designed. Whilst working within resource availability, timelines and t o certain customer specifications. Additional communication restrictions forces teams to appreciate the power of face to face communication and to totally understand customer needs.
How It Works
The final construction component sees all teams collaborating by combining their individual bridges to make one single unbroken bridge, emphasizing the importance of individual team roles to the success of any large goal. A fun, engaging, hands on event with very powerful metaphors. The efforts of all teams are rewarded at the exciting grand finale - driving a remote controlled vehicle over the total length of the extended bridge. Delegates feel a great sense of unity as they are literally “linked”together in a powerful demonstration of successful collaboration.

Teams are tasked with exploring the city in order to research, script, rehearse and film a short heritage Travel Show. The 6 minute Travel show will need to be planned and filmed to certain specifications (e.g. include all team members at some point, have two presenters, an interview with a non team member etc.).
The production will also need to incorporate specific venues (e.g. historical buildings, famous market etc.) and experiences. (e.g. trying local food, using local transport).
Teams will need to carefully plan resources and divide up clear roles like presenters, camera crew, sound, location management, props and of course a director.
A fun finale will have the teams enjoy and critique the other teams travel show and leave with a great souvenir of their visit.

A three phase challenge which tests a diverse set of team skills.
How It Works
Firstly the teams need to follow carefully designed progressive blueprints and transfer the information onto giant pieces of card to build a series of 3 dimensional puzzle pieces.
Resource allocation is one of the critical elements and strong lessons learned about duplication of effort and best practice sharing can be drawn from the first phase of the exercise. Once the puzzle pieces are created, the second phase is a problem solving dilemma to create these into mini pyramids and then a giant one. This requires spatial awareness, co-ordination and collaboration with all team members.
Finally, the third phase is to decorate the pyramid sides with a corporate or team message. Creativity and the visual communication of a message provides a great opportunity to interpret values, product benefits and corporate culture.

How It Works
Firstly the analogies between the individual instruments and rhythms are introduced, explaining that we can only make music if everyone learns to appreciate their role in relation to others. After which delegates choose an instrument and all players must contribute as a team and work together playing in time and on cue.

In the Kon-Tiki Challenge cross-functional collaboration, decision making, resource allocation and innovation will all come into play. How It Works
Teams are provided with limited resources of cardboard, plastic, tape and cutting tools and the all important design blueprints. Their challenge is to build a seaworthy vessel – initially perceived as an impossible mission.
Teams quickly realise that with co-ordination, commitment and energy, they can succeed, ending in a hilarious competitive race to the finish line. An analogy can be drawn to the work place where everyone has a rewarding role to play in keeping the team afloat; whether they want to build, design, decorate or crew the vessel, each team member has a valuable contribution to make.

Glam rock, heavy metal, punk, disco and new romantic – some of the best and most embarrassing tracks from the past must be revived, reinterpreted and recreated for the 21st century.
How It Works
A camera workshop is provided whilst the rest of the team get busy with the elaborate costumes, props and make-up. Pop Promo is a fun and challenging exercise, where planning, creativity and sheer bravado are a must.
Teams need to juggle resources in a tight timeframe, keeping control of planning and implementation time – the end deadline does not move!
