Les transports terrestres vers le nord sont fortement perturbs. Les routes sont rendues

dangereuses par les inondations et les risques de glissements de terrains. Les transports ariensfonctionnent en revanche normalement.

Afin dpargner le centre de Bangkok, les autorits ont dcid de drainer la masse des eaux du

nord par les canaux de sept districts de lest de la capitale : Sai Mai, Bang Khen, Khlong SamWa, Min Buri, Nhong Chok et Lat Krabang. Le risque dinondation subsiste dans ces districts.

2 - Le dbut de la saison de mousson dans le sud du pays est marqu par de trs fortes

prcipitations. Les autorits mettent en garde contre les risques dinondation et de glissements de

terrains dans les provinces de Chumphon, Surat Thani (Kho Samui), Nakhon Si Thammarat,Pattalung et Songkhla.

The capital will not sink. 90% of Bangkok will be safe. As of now there are 3 maincanals (San Seb,Pravet and Prakranong) taking the water out to the sea. Bangkok isat level 2 for water monitoring surveillance (4 is the highest one). However, theevacuation plan is not revealed yet.

La digue deCanal 3 Canal 4 Canal P. Pat 5 et 6 s'est effondr depuis hier (18octobre).Le niveau deau dans le village de White house attient 3,40 m de haut cequi est considr comme un niveau dangereux. Les autre digue peut briser toutmoment.


Dapres lagence de nouvelles Chinoises Xinhua , M. Liang Jia, Shijiazhuang,Directeur adjoint, Bureau de l'hydrologie. Ministre des Ressources de l Eau de laChine, a dclar que la crise de l'eau qui va tre inonde de la ville est deja passe.

Suite la demande du gouvernement de la Thalande, Gouvernement chinoisenvoie une quipe de contrle des inondations et des experts en gestion de l'eau Bangkok le vendredi dernier. autorits thalandaises ont dclar qu'il est trs utile

pour le contrle des inondations.La Chine a recemment fait don des Etats-Unis $ 1 million (environ 30,5 millions) et

des marchandises values environ $ 1,6 millions aux tats-Unis (environ USD 49millions) pour aider les inondations en Thalande.

Workers and people living in Nava Nakorn industrial estate have been ordered to evacuateimmediately after all efforts to prevent the floodwater pouring into the factory zone failed,Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra confirmed today

"I feel so sorry that water has entered Nava Nakorn because we've been trying to prevent

the industrial estate from flooding for quite a while," said Ms Yingluck.She said the breach in the dyke wall was the result of a combination of factors - with theheavy rain over the weekend and high tide levels adding to the pressure from water runofffrom northern provinces.

She said she would call a meeting to assess the damage to Nava Nakorn and todetermine whether Bangkok's Don Mueang and Sai Mai districts would also be affected.

Bangkok Governor Sukhumbhand Paribatra admitted that the capital is not yet safe fromflooding as the city's northern suburbs remain at risk of being inundated, even as defences are

being shored up against the oncoming waterflow.

The areas most at risk are Sai Mai and Klong Sam Wa districts with 127,728households, after the Royal Irrigation Department closed half of the sluice gate atRangsit Klong 1.

Water is flowing into the Bang Pa-in Industrical in Ayutthaya's Bang Pa-in district.


Floods have already hit 627 communities in Bangkok, with floodwater as deep as 70centimetres at some spots. These flood-hit areas spread across 20 out of 50 Bangkok'sdistricts. The worst-hit spots are in Klong Sam Wa district, which is located in the easternzone. Floodwater level ranges between 30 and 70 centimetres there.

The government has decided to drain floodwaters through the eastern and western sides ofBangkok, so many around the capital know trouble is heading their way.

Rising sea levels predicted this weekend have fuelled fears of severe flooding, but residentshave no choice but to prepare for the worst.

Red area = flooded area

Blue area = It will be flood

Map provided by the flood centre shows the plan to keep inner Bangkok dry by divertingfloodwaters around the capital.


The repair of leaked dyke at Ban Phrao sluice gate is expected to complete by today,

Pathum Thani Administrative Organisation president Chan Phuangphet said. The remainingwork is to fix the final 20 meters of the dyke. The dyke is a critial barrier to guard Rangsitand northern Bangkok from inundation.

En ce moment, il y a 1 millions cubicmetres hors de la digne. Si la cite de Bangkok peut proteger la capitale, ca va prendre 1moiset demi pour le drainage (20,000millions cubic metres du barrages pas inclus).

La digne est 50cm plus haute que la current (2.5M VS1.99M).

Ce quon peut faire1. Pas de panique mais gardez bien vos objets de valuer, documents importants2. Gardez leau, la nourriture pour survivre pendant 2 jours

Dans 2 jours, il y aura la precipitation donc que ce sera difficile pour BMA (BangkokMetropolitan Administration)
