SummeryTranscription:
The process of transcription starts in the nucleus with the DNA. The DNA helicase comes in and unwinds the DNA. Then after it if unwound, DNA strand one gets separated from strand two. RNA polymerase then comes in and copies the DNA and forms mRNA. After the mRNA is made, it leaves through the nuclear pore, and goes into the cytoplasm.
Translation:In translation, the mRNA has now gone into the cytoplasm from transcription. The mRNA goes to the ribosome where tRNA and tRNA anti-codon come in and drop off an amino acid for each codon. Once the amino acid is dropped off, and it is bonded with the next amino acid the tRNA and anti-codon leave. The amino acids are bonded together with peptide bonds. After all of the codons have the amino acids the last codon in the stop codon. Then there is the completed protein.
