Tea drinking has been a long tradition of the Chinese people for centuries. The offering of tea is an elegant demonstration of hospitality and plays a major part in Chinese rituals, ranging from religious rites, wedding ceremonies to other celebratory acts. Tea, at the heart of Chinese culture, exemplifies the artistic temperament of the Middle Kingdom as well as modern days.
