D) Important information for SAP HANA platform SPS 06 Features

o In scenarios with system replication feature enabled it can appear

that the secondary system is not able to connect to the

primary-system after an update of the systems to SAP HANA SPS 06.

The solution to this issue is described in SAP Note 1876398.

o For more information about the SAP HANA paged attribute feature,

see SAP note 1871386.

o For users connecting to SAP HANA systems using the SAP HANA studio,

it is possible with SPS 06 to disable the default storing of

passwords in the Eclipse secure store by running the SAP HANA

studio with the command -noPwdStore. This may be desired forsecurity reasons, for example, to prevent individuals from being

able to access systems using another user's credentials, which is

possible if several users share the computer on which the SAP HANA

studio is installed. If passwords are not stored in the Eclipse

secure store, users must always enter their password to access SAP

HANA systems.

This feature is currently compatible only with the Administration

Console perspective. Disabling the storage of passwords in the

Eclipse secure store has undesirable effects on other perspectives,

in particular the SAP HANA Development perspective.
