SND Award of Excellence in the 33rd by the Redesign category, launching Roshfrans MAGAZINE,

which achieved a multi-year advertising contract with Roshfrans which is still in force, special

supplement for the 2012 Olympic Games in China which attracted advertisers like Samsung and

Bimbo, circulation was doubled 90mil to 180mil printed copies.

I made the layout page for four articles who won the National Award Journalism (Alejandro

ACTIVITIES: Original design of Chilanguia magazine, published monthly by the Ministry of

Culture of the City of Mexico. Art direction, the magazine reached 300 thousand monthly print

copies.

COMPANY: Editorial Zacatecas S.A. de C.V., | Design consulting

ACTIVITIES: Design consultant for newspapers and MAGEN DE ZACATECAS y EL

CENTINELA, training of editors and designers, The IMAGEN DE ZACATECAS newspaper

redesign was launched in January 2009, and four months later, the redesign for EL CENTILENA

newspaper was launched too. After redesigning both newspapers the group’s turnover both

increased by 50%.

ACTIVITIES: Original design of Expreso de Campeche newspaper to launch in 2005, design

consultant during 2006 and 2007, redesign for newspaper in June 2007, after the redesign

in 2007 circulation increased from 3,000 to 7,000 copies, today Expreso de Campeche is

newspaper leader of the state.

ACTIVITIES: General Coordinator of soft news design for newspaper El Universal, on charge of

supervision and coordination of four daily sections (Culture, Sports, Entertainment & Lifestyle),

three weekly sections (Cars, Tech, Travel), three weekly supplements (Confabulario, ¡Por Fín! and

Our Health) , special publications and commercial supplements.

I did the original design of the suplement Alemania06 (inserted in 21 newspapers in México,

Texas, Arizona and Southern California in the United States) , redesign of the weekly supplement

¡Por Fin! in February 2006, redesign of El Universal in October 2005 in conjunction with a team

of external consultants , development of the original design and styles of Equipo sports weekly,

Confabulario weekly, Atenas04 supplements and Our health, supplements. Award of Excellence

from the SND in 25 editions and 26 in the category Sport Single Section and Page , in 2004 and

2005 , I contributed to win the first design awards in the history of the newspaper.
