Research on GPRS Vehicle Location Network Service System

[email protected] can achieve vehicle location tracking on
Internet by using GPRS ehicle loation terminal and
ombining with Internet technology and GIS tehnology.
The artile gives the design struture of GPRS ehile
loation network servie system. The system is divided
into the pars: GIS network workstations, network
communications server and GPRS vehile location
terminal. Then, the artile makes the brief introdution
to the funtion of three pars of the system: GIS netork
workstations are sponsible for sending command
"Setting GPS Loation Data Return Interval" to
network communications server, and eiving GPS
loation data paket uploaded from GPRS vehicle
locatio trminal from nework communications server,
making analysis of eived GPS loation data packet;
The ehicles will be appead as title in the specied
position on the map by combining with GIS. Netork
ommuniations serer is responsible for receiing the
command "Seting GPS Location Data Return Interval"
from GIS network worstations and transmitting to the
specied GPRS vehile loation terminal and reeiing
GPS location data packet pass baked from GPRS
vehicle loation terminal and distributing to the
appropriate GIS network workstations simultaneously.
GPRS vehicle loation terminal is sponsible for
reeiving the command "Setting GPS Location Data
Rtn Iterval "sent fro netork comnications
serer and sending GPS loation data olleted by GPS
module to network communications serve Finally, the
article tests the feasibility of system design through
experiment. By using the system, it will be easy and fast
to make vehicle loation tracking on Internet and timely
acess vehile loation information.
