Then they read aloud the dialogue in ex.3/p.94 using role-play – the teacher corrects pronunciation mistakes and checks comprehension. Language: all and any Possible problems: all the students will want to read the dialogue – the teacher will be ready to shorten the activity. ACTIVITY 3 Context: vocabulary in the textbook Time: 15’ Organization: the students read the list of leisure activities in ex.7/p.95 and try to match them with the pictures that the teacher shows them. The teacher explains the new vocabulary. In pairs, the students do ex.7a,b/p.95. Then they check their answers with the class. The teacher writes the table on the blackboard and the students copy in their notebooks. Possible problems: some students work slower than others – the teacher will stimulate them  by creat ing the c ontext o f a competition . ACTIVITY 4 Context: making suggestions and expressing preferences Time: 20’ Organization: the teacher explains the structures would rather/would prefer to and elicits the rules from the students – SS answer individually and give examples of their own – the teacher writes them on the blackboard. Evaluation: group work – in groups of four, students discuss what to do at the weekend using the expressions in ex.8/p.95. The teacher selects one or two groups to act out the dialogue in front of the class and gives feedback. HOMEWORK : Ex.9/ p.95
