    MTTShardwareandsoftwareplatformisusedforseamlessGSM/UMTSmobileterminalstrackingon

    theterritorieswithGSMorUMTScoverage.

    ThefollowingfeaturesofMTTSareuniqueandtodatehaveneverbeenimplementedbyother

    vendorsofsimilarLBS(Location-basedservice)systems:

    Thesystemsupportssimultaneousoperationwithupto16mobileoperators.

    MTTSallowsusertodetectthecountrywherethemobileterminalhasmovedtoandwasregisteredunderroamingscenario.Optionally,thesystemcansupportreallocationdetection

    oftheroamingsubscriberinanycountryoftheworldandforanyservingmobileoperator

    network.

    And,mostimportantly,MTTSplatformisnottailoredtoGSMequipmentmanufacturersproprietaryspecificationsandcanbeusedacrossanyknowntypeofknownNetworkSwitching

    Subsystem.

    Accuracyformobileterminallocationdetectioninmostcasesvariesfrom300to700metersinurban

    conditionsandabout1500-5000metersoutsidethecity.Thisfigurelargelydependsonthemobile

    operatorsbasestationssitesdensityineveryselectedregion.

    MTTSsupportsupto1000locationdetectionrequestsfromseveralusersperhour.Inaddition,user

    canpresetanydesiredinformationupdatetimeframe(forexamplefrom1to45minutes)toenable

    automaticreal-timemobileterminalstracking.

    Also,itispossibletosetupmultipleremoteworkingplaceswithInternetaccessandenabledVPN

    connectivity,oractivateremoteaccessfromanyauthorizedsmartphone.OperatorofMTTScanwork

    fromanyplaceintheWorldusingreliableVPNconnectionthroughInternet,orwithaseparate

    dedicateddatachannel(forexample,VSATlink).

    ThebasicfunctionalityofMTTSallowsdetectingthemobileterminallocationbyanalyzingCGI (Cell

    Global Identifier) datareceivedfromtherelevantmobileswitchcontrollerinterconnectedtoMTTSvia

    MTTSoperatorworkingplacecanbeeasilyintegratedwithAltronsMTLS(mobiletrackingand

    locationsystem(GSM/UMTSGrabber))cellphoneslocationdetectionportablesystemthus

    significantlyincreasingtheoverallsolutioneffectiveness.

    Andfinally,thecostofMTTSsolutionisverycompetitivecomparedtosimilarsolutionsbyother

    vendors.

    2. MTTS com ponents

    Theplatformincludesbothhardwareandsoftwarecomponents.

    2.1. HardwareMTTShardwareconsistsofControlServer(CS)andseveralWorkstations(WS).ControlServer(CS)connectstoOperatorsMSC(MobileSwitchCentre)(HLR(HomeLocationRegister)subsystem)using

    E1interface.

    UserWScanbesetupatanypersonalcomputerwithInternetbrowsersupportingJavaScriptand

    CookiesandhavingsecuredconnectiontotheCS.ThebasicMTTSconfigurationincludes5WSs.

    2.2. Software

    2.2.1. Control Server (CS) software

    MTTSsoftwareontheCSsideprocessestherequestsfromtheauthorizedusersWS,interrogating

    mobileoperatorHLR.OncetheinformationfromtheHLRisreceived,theCSperformssearchthrough

    thebasestationsdatabaseandgeneratestargetmobileterminallocationreport.Simultaneously,in

    ordertoincreaselocationdetectionaccuracy,theCScanuseeitherGoogleorYandexcellsitesdata.

    AllrequestsareloggedonCS.

    2.2.2. Work S tation (WS) so ftwareClientWorkstationsoftwareconsistsofuserWebinterfaceandisusedtoperformmobileterminal

    locationsearchbasedoneitherMDISDN(MobileStationIntegratedServicesDigitalNumber)orIMSI

    (InternationalMobileSubscriberIdentity),andtoseerelevantrequestslogs.
