This improved internal thread is designed to enhance clutch adjustment. To compensate for equivalent wear, the Easy-Pedal Clutch adjusting ring requires approximately 1/2 of the movement required by the standard adjusting ring. The Fuller ® Clutch is designed to handle engine torques up to 2250 lbs.ft. (3050 Nm) engines and to match the Fuller ® RTLO-22918 transmission. Designed to be Easy on the Driver and the Drivetrain. The Fuller ® Stamped Angle Spring clutch offers all this plus the features of our cast line of clutches! The Stamped Angle-Spring clutch includes all the benefits of both pull type release and internal adjusting clutches while adding unique features of its own. The Stamped Angle-Spring clutch was designed in conjunction with a flat flywheel specifically for mid-range engines. The stamped cover gives the clutch its greater strength, and because it is mounted on a flat flywheel, offers a much lighter weight package and lower inertia. Pounding and excessive wear are eliminated by the strap drive concept. The Stamped Angle-Spring is offered in your choice of manual adjust or Solo ® models. The Solo ® model does away with all routine clutch adjusting … once it is adjusted during original installation, you never adjust it again. Eaton…. the clutch experts! ‘VCT’ stands for Vibration Control Technology. It’s the state-of-the-art in Soft-Rate Damper designs. Eaton’s experience and technology have fostered the development of the most innovative damper design in the market for the most demanding applications. The VCT Plus Soft-Rate Damper can significantly reduce severe vibration, cutting down on maintenance costs and downtime, and extending drivetrain component life. The VCT Plus upgrade, which replaced the original VCT , provides reduced torsional rate, improved durability, and was designed to incorporate pre-damper technology. Pre-damper is a feature designed for reducing idle rattle noise in various applications, where torsional vibrations are growing more erratic. That is why Eaton is now introducing the latest option for heavy-duty applications, the VCT Plus PD, where ‘PD’ stands for Pre- Damper. The Pre-Damper consists of seven small springs, surrounding the hub that reduce idle rattle when operating at low torque or engine speed with the transmission in neutral, prior to operation of the primary damper stage. Installation procedures for the VCT Plus PD is the same as current VCT Plus and 7-spring dampers. The VCT Plus PD damper is available in the same clutch models as the VCT Plus, which includes the Easy Pedal and Solo ® for torque values up to 2250 ft-lb.
