REASON: To increase life of the quadrant and shaft assembly sealthereby eliminating fuel leakage around the quadrant andshaft assembly.DESCRIPTION: The width of the two quadrant and shaft assemb ly O-ringgrooves is increased to accommodate new O-ring sealswith the additional Teflon back-up rings. Following re-work, the governor assembly is reidentified.COMPLIANCE: Modification is recommended at first repair or overhaul(whichever occurs first) following parts ava ilability.

I APPROVAL: FAA-DER Approved.MANPOW ER: It is estimated that approximately one additional man-hour will be required at time of overhaul.PARTS AVAILABILITY: New CECO P/N Nomenclature 2x.

ACCOMPLISHMENT INSTRUCTIONS:At first repair or overhau l following parts availability, rework power turbinegovernor P/N 100619 Quadrant and Shaft Assem bly to a.ccommodate two newP/N 101302-013 O-rings with MS28774-013 Back-up R i:ugs.I. Disassemble Governor and Rework Quadrant and Shaft Assemb ly.

A. Disassemble governor and inspect parts in accordance with the 250-C20Overhaul Manual (Appendix Bl).B. Rework serviceable P/N 100619 Quadrant and Shaft Assem bly as follows:

1. Increase O-ring groove width by machining in accordance w ithFigure 1.2. Reidentify Quadrant and Shaft Assem bly as P/N 10130 6 by taggingor marking part container.

C. If P/N 100619 Quadrant and Shaft Assem bly cannot be reworked, re-place with P/N 10130 6 Quadrant and Shaft Assemb ly.H. Reassemble Governor.

A. Reassem ble governor in accordance with the 250-C20 Overhaul Manual(Appendix Bl) except install two new P/N 101302 -013 Packings and twonew P/N MS28774-013 Back-up Rings on P/N 10130 6 Throttle Shaftas shown on Figure 2.B. Reidentify the power turbine governor assembly using l/8-inch numberand letter punches as follows:
