    I – Preamble :

Specialized, trained, and experienced personnel carry out the verifications and tests on site.

The delivered material may be installed without our supervision.

Tests are carried out with adapted and calibrated metering instruments.

The documents are project-specific and shall be completed and distributed on site.

Tests are applied in compliance with IEC standards (unless otherwise specified by thecustomer).

    II – Verification after installation

    - Collection of problems occurred during mechanical erection.

    - Visual inspection of alignment, finish, cleanliness, =S= image.

    - Check of conformity with the layout drawing, position of the switchgear.

    - Check of fastenings, bus-bar connections, earthing circuit.

    - Labelling, marking.

    - Cable routing, trenches, areas in front of the switchgear for the personnel passage andstops.

    - Check that PT’s, CT’s, relays comply with the required function (motor feeder, incoming, transformer).

    - Check that IP is preserved after installation…

III – Functional test of switchgear

    - Manual operations on the switchgear control mechanisms : circuit breakers, isolators, contactors, switches, PT.s, doors, interlockings, padlocking.

    - Operating via the LV electrical drive of the switchgear.

    - Verification of switchgear extraction, withdrawal.

IV – Test of LV electrical operating

    - Checks that the LV main functions comply with diagram and specification.

    - Verification and measurement of the values on CT’s, PT’s and other sensors.

    - Verification electrical interlocking for all the functions.

    V - Test of protection/communication relays

    – For each function the relay (SEPAM …) is :

. set according to the technical documentation of the project (settings / selectivity),

. checked on its protection operating, curve, display, …

As an exception, program modification may be carried out on site.

    – For projects with a communication system:

. Check that data exchange between relays, channel -bus and communication is actually operative.

    VI – MV dielectric test

The dielectric test on site is applied on the conductive components and isolated from the groundto verify insulation withstand level.

80 % of the workshop test voltage at industrial frequency is applied for 1 minute.

    VII – Documentation and certificate

Each project has its own technical and specific documents.

On site, the specialist shall use and accurately update the prepared test file.

He shall submit the final testcertificate to the customer for acceptance.

The contractual documents shall be remitted to the customer.
