1 Front suspension is high-tech with dual

A-arms that deliver a huge 9.3 inches of

wheel travel and feature 5-way spring

preload adjustability. The hydraulic

front disc brakes feature strong 2-

piston calipers.

Ground-breaking power produced by the

revolutionary 697cc V-Twin engine with dual

Keihin downdraft carburetors. A 90-degree

cylinder offset produces perfect primary

balance that minimizes vibration yet pumps

out amazing torque.

2 Forward, neutral and reverse accessed via

grip-style shifter is mounted conveniently

on the left handlebar to make gear

selection quick and seamless. The super-

responsive KAPS automatic transmission

with special Kevlar-reinforced drive

belt provides instant acceleration and

maximum traction.

Standard features include ITP Holeshot

tires for maximum traction and stability, and

aluminum alloy rims with welded inserts for

added strength and durability.

3 The KFX700 features exclusive technology

like Kawasakis sealed multi-disc braking

system, integrated shaft drive and its

unitized alloy swingarm with large-

capacity, piggyback reservoir shock and

dual-rate spring for 7.9 inches of travel.

Excellent handling is realized by superior en-

gineering. A low center of gravity is provided

by an underseat fuel tank accessed at the

rear of the machine. The traditional fuel tank

area is actually the airbox.

1 A throttle-limiting screw allows parents to limit throttle opening to

help new riders gain experience at slower speeds. The keyed ignition

switch prevents starting without a key for controlling riding times.

2 A single hydraulic disc and dual front drum brakes are operating by linked

hand levers for ease of use. They provide excellent stopping power.
