Uses government verified remote desktop software to manually push patches of security vulnerabilities that are discovered by Team Lead. Operates software to digitally push Microsoft Knowledge Based (KB) article patches to over 400+ machines at once. Verifies the installation of all security patches from list of machines as directed by Team Lead. Uses Desktop Baseline Assessment Tool to install VA verified software on systems to bring them to baseline. Troubleshoots failed update/ patch installations by using Microsoft TechNet to come up with fixes and solutions to installation problems. Leads audits on individual systems using VA specified Tool Kit software to ensure all systems are within the Dept. of Veteran Affairs standards.
