15 INITIAL INCIDENT DESCRIPTION / NARRATIVE:
{On 05-01-2013 at about 2054 hrs while working uniformed patrol as 3E1 in
the City of Seattle, I responded to the 1200 BLK# of Pine St to investigate
a report of a bottle being thrown through a vehicle window: "...4 AGO,
PROTESTOR THREW GLASS BOTTLE AT CALLERS WINDOW, SHATTERED IT AND CUT HER
HAND...". When I arrived, I found V near her vehicle Initially, V/ was terrified/very visiblyshaken/crying/sobbing. Eventually, V/ was able to calm down and
tell me the following:
V was driving West-bound on E Pine St. As V crossed
Melrose Ave, she encountered vehicular traffic that had been stopped by the
Anarchists/Protesters/Activists "...marching..." as part of "May-Day".
Additionally, there were several Anarchists/Protesters/Activists walking in
the travel lane, causing the traffic stoppage. As V waited for
traffic to move, and without warning or provocation, an unidentified
Anarchist/Protester/Activist threw the referenced bottle through her front
driver-side door window. This caused the window to shatter and spray over
V causing the injuries to her hand. Additionally, the bottle
continued through the now shattered window and struck V on theleft side of her face/head, causing pain. V did not see the
Anarchist/Protester/Activist who threw the bottle. As V/ remained
stopped and in shock, an unidentified male assisted her in moving her
vehicle to the parking lot and getting out of her vehicle. This male
identified himself only as and left two phone numbers with
V/ was not on-scene when I arrived. I tried to call at both of the phone numbers he gave to V/ but I was not
able to reach him. I collected the bottle and submitted it for fingerprint
