Euro 100 million OMP GROUP company was founded in Busano (TO) Italy in 1956 and is a leading company in producing JIT mechanical products for the automotive industry. Evolution and innovation have enable the company to widen and diversify production. At the moment OMP’s production is based on the following sectors: automobiles, industrial and military vehicles, ground motions machines, tractors, railways and robotics. The productive plant of the company covers an area of 65,000 square mtrs .and 26,500 square mtrs. Of them are sheltered.
Established in India during 2007 with similar Industrial set up. The plant in India covers an area of 26000 sq. mtrs. And around 10000 sq. mtrs. Is sheltered.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:-
Receipt of Customer ( OEM- DIAMLER, CNH, ASHOK LEYLAND & TIER 1- GRAZIANO, American Axle, DANA, ZF ( INDIA & RUSSIA ), MERITOR & CARRARO) Schedules and update in MRP ( Legist )
Ensure on time delivery to the customers.
MECHANICAL ENGINEER Preparing the schedule for the suppliers on months wise thru’ Legist (MRP).
Making Purchase Order (PO) & Feeding to the Production Line.
Purchasing the forging components for executing the machining plan
Following the supplier.
Handling the Customers and work for their Satisfaction.
Meeting with the vendors/Suppliers for the smooth running of the shop floor.
Making the Proper movement of the Material to the different Departments for the different Processes.
Off loading the Forge Material to the Vendors for the Pre-Machining Processes.
Deploying the Manpower and utilizing it for the Optimization.
Looking after the logistics for the movement of the material.
Ensuring the best possible economical way of production by setting the targets.
Planning for the upcoming Months.
Taking care of the packing of the material according to the packing Std. & Dispatch.
Making the report for the management.
Working Hand on SAP in 2011 for 8 months.
