名词性从句包括：

主语从句： What you said sounds reasonable.

表语从句： This is what I was asked to do.

宾语从句： Nobody knows who broke the glass.

同位语从句： The idea that we’ll go out for a picnic is great

名词性从句应注意事项：

1 、 从句的语序为陈述句 ;

2 、 连词 that 不充当任何成分 ;

3 、 what 总是要充当主语、宾语、

表语和定语 ;

4 、 If 和 whether 的区别：

If 引导条件状语从句和宾语从句。

Whether 引导宾语从句、主语从句、表语从句和同位语从句。

当 if 和 whether 引导宾语从句的区别，即用 whether 不用 if 的情况：

(1). 作介词宾语 It depends on whether it is fine.

(2).Whether +to do I ‘m not sure whether to leave this afternoon.

(3).Whether or not He can not decide whether or not take the exam.

(4). 作 discuss 的宾语 We are discussing whether we will hold a meeting this weekend

5 、 doubt 用于肯定句中，宾语从句可以用 if 或 whether 引导。 I doubt if (whether)you will come for a visit tomorrow.

doubt 用于否定句或疑问句中，宾语从句用 that 引导。 He doesn’t doubt that his mother will give him a ride home for sure.
