Euroopa meistrivistluste etapi korraldamine nihutab piire mitmes valdkonnas, alustades meeskonna suurusest ja eelarvest ning lpetades Baltimaade suurimast autospordisndmusest saadava emotsiooniga. See annab ka Eesti sitjatele vimaluse vrrelda end Euroopa tipp-sitjatega.

ERC promootori Eurosport Events toodetavate erisaadete vahen-dusel saame tsta Eesti tuntust turismisihtkohana kigil meile olulistel turgudel, sest knealused telesaated on nhtavad kogu maailmas.

Tnavune ralli laieneb Eesti suuruselt teise linna Tartusse. Kogu meelelahutusprogramm suured kontserdid Tartu kesklinnas oleval poodiumil, laste- ja naisteala, ostutnav koos nitusealaga hakkab samuti olema Tartus. Auto24 Rally Estonia korraldusmeeskond on teinud ja teeb jtkuvalt maksimumi, et kik saaksid nautida suve pari-mat vistlust olenemata sellest, kas olete publiku hulgas vi ise vist-lemas. The world watches Tartu with excitement. A few days after the world was taken by football

fever, when all the cameras were trained on Brazil and news anchors sank their teeth into the struggles

of national teams, the focus shifts and the camera eyes turn to Estonia and Tartu, little specks on the world map. For it is here that around 400 daring men will embark on a round of European Rally Championship that will be covered live also by Eurosport. The sport lovers and couch athletes of Tartu are in for an exciting summer it is not every day that a worlds top sports event takes place at our doors-tep. Hardier fans are expected to turn up in person to enjoy the ambi-ence, attend the fi fteen Special Stages and watch the main race.

Much more fascinating isthe interior - in homage to the Pallas art school that operatedhere before the war, all the rooms are decorated with modernart paintings. True to its name, this hotel sits in a downtownpark, just a short walk from all the major sights. Opened in1940, its not the newest of hotels, and has the creaky floorsto prove it. Theres a distinct air of timelessness here - managementstill proudly talk about the Kekkonen suite, wherethat Finnish president stayed, albeit very briefly, in 1964.Rooms vary, but are done up in pale yellows and greens, andcome fully-equipped. 19 rooms (singles 48, doubles 68,suites 80 - 100). This hotel is a little offthe beaten track, but still a quick and picturesque drive intothe centre. This ultra-modern facility offers many amenitiesincluding a party room and sauna, as well as a full-fledged,international-style restaurant perfect for large groups. As ifthat were not enough, the Raadimisa boasts a fully equippedconference room with seating for 100. All arebrightly decorated, and have local television stations. Lobby computerjust in case you forgot your laptop. The only catch here is thedistant location, in the Annelinn suburb. Take bus N1 or 5to the Misavahe stop.
