Abstract:Supply chain management has become a common tool for ensuringsuccess of business organizations. Measurement of supply chain

performance is required to understand how successfully supply chainmanagement has been implemented in a firm. Various methods have been

suggested for doing this. The Balanced Scorecard (BSC) presents a fairly

comprehensive model for evaluating supply chains. However, even BSC has

its shortcomings. This paper tries to suggest ways to overcome some of its

shortcomings by considering the case of the petroleum supply chain. By

elevating the BSC from organizational level to industry level it can been

used for benchmarking one supply chain against another; something whichis not possible with the way BSC is being used currently. This can

substantially enhance the flexibility of using BSC for performance

evaluation, The paper also suggests a way to combine dissimilar metrics so

that a single number can be obtained which signifies the performance of thesupply chain. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR].

6.Sntomas de Fiebre de Ebola Agitation, pain, shortness of breath, and delirium are the most difficult

symptoms to manage for hospice nurses; pain, nausea, dysphagia, and delirium are

the most difficult for general practitioners.

Palliative medicine patients are polysymptomatic, with a median of 11symptoms.

Patient age, gender, performance status, primary disease, race, symptom

severity and distress, and symptom assessment method influence symptomprevalence and epidemiology.

Systematic symptom assessment that addresses physiological andpsychological symptoms ideally should be used each time a patient is seen; 52% of

nonvolunteered symptoms are moderate or severe, and 53% are distressing.

Anorexia, delirium, dyspnea, dysphagia, fatigue, dry mouth, and weight loss

are the symptoms most commonly reported that negatively affect survival.
