Tsurumi Sunmarine Co.,Ltd.

OUR HISTORY Our previous company named “Tsurumi Yuso Co.,Ltd.” was established in August28

1947 in Tokyo with the paid-up capital of 200 million yen for the purpose of the

marine transportation of petroleum products and it merged with specialized coastal

company named “Sunmarine Co.,Ltd.” As of October 1 ,2000 with paid-up capital of

392 million yen.

Atan early stage. Tsurumi Yuso Co.,Ltd. Started the domestic transportation

business with the National Petroleum Distribution Organization and also

commenced business with “Caltex Oil”, Japan to supply bunker fuel for oceangoing

vessels.

When the private oil refineries in Japan started production again, the company was

nominated as an authorized contractor by major oil corporation such as Mitsubishi

Oil Co.,ltd., Nippon Oil Company ltd.(now JX Nippon Oil& Energy Corporation)

Cosmo Oil Co.,ltd. In line with the growing petroleum demand, our sales activities

were rapidly expanded and the branch offices / sales offices were opened in various

locations to with the increased coastal tanker tonnage requirements.

In addition to the above, our overseas business department handles marine

transportation business of petroleum products, Molasses, Animal, Vegetable Oil and

Chemicals mainly for the Far-East Countries, the South-East Asian Countries. In

December 1982, the company has been transporting considerable volumes of

petroleum products in line with the increased imported products.

In December 1983, the company engaged in the coastal transportation business of

general cargo for further development. In May 1988, we established an affiliated

company in Singapore for strengthening ouroverseas business department

activities.

Now we handle approximately 180 of Coastal Tanker and 19 of Ocean Going Tanker

in Japan.

We work constantly to improve our services with creative solutions.
